I'm in my mid-50's and in great shape 6'1 and 195, ride my bike and have Type 2 diabetes which is the one you can control with pills, diet and exercise. Type 1 in the one that you get injections. I believe Aretha is more in the Type 1 catagory and that's very dangerous. The actress Elizabeth Perkins who's on the Showtime program Weeds is a Type 1 and she's in good shape, so it doesn't care who you are. Aretha is in terrible shape so her risks are extremely high!
