Barack Obama just wants Reverend Jeremiah Wright to shut up.
In a presser today, the presidential hopeful blasted his pastor's controversial preachings on 9/11, AIDS and everything in between -- saying the comments make him mad, angry and are 100% opposed to what he stands for.
Though Wright was quiet when TMZ got him and his shove-happy security yesterday, don't expect him to quit yapping anytime soon.

4. Can someone exam why mr. wright went to Libya (middle east) with the Nation of Islam. It is believed that not only the Nation of Islam received money from Libya but Mr. Wright , himself , Could'nt we , at least, conclude that Mr. Wright is not christian ?

5. The Rev needs to STFU immediately! I believe the CLINTON camp is behind Wright oiling the machine and all his bigot remarks..................Wright is not a christian in any form or fashion. If it walks and talks like SATAN, it is satan!
One more thought, I think the "government" needs to look in to ALL of Wrights bank accounts etc...!! I smell something really bad about this racist PIG!

6. People are so guillible. Obama is going to say whatever he thinks people want to hear. He doesn't want to upset the public and alienate his supporters. Do people honestly think Wright just suddenly flipped up and adopted these opinons?Obama has been very close to and following Wright forever. Obama knows exactly what Wright's radical beliefs are, and supports him. He is just temporarily casting Wright aside because he knows Wright is bad for his campaingn right now.

8. This suppose'd rev. wright is a Millionaire and someone should track down if his money came from Islamist groups (though it might not be illegal) but , I believe, this person is about as christian as Hamas , and you have to admit he sounds just like Michael Moore.

10. I'm glad that Obama is making is clear that he does not ascribe to the views of Wright. As intelligent Americans, I'm sure we can clearly see that the reverand speaks for himself, not Obama. I remain as I always have been - a staunch supporter and registered voter for Barack Obama.

13. I don't trust this man either. I think he has alternative motives riding Barack's publicity. He is trying to get HIS POINT OF VIEW out to the country while on the back of Obama's campaign.
He needs to continue preaching in his church (For right now) and get out of the media limelight. The Media screws up everything a person says - weather good or bad. So if he really was down with Barack - he would keep his views to himself right now, as far as the media goes.
I don't have any disrespect for the REV. but I am really annoyed he is using Obama's coming out - as his own coming out.
People can we keep our eye on the prize, FOR NOW, and get Obama into the White House.

14. Obama joined Wright's church so he could prove his " Blackness " to the Black community. Now that he has discovered he is too Black ( Radical Afro-centrist ) for most Whites and many Blacks he's trying to distance himself from the reverend. Obama reminds me of a female gymnast on the balance beam who is suddenly off balance and flailing away with one foot on the beam and her body gyrating all over the place trying not to fall. Will he recover or will he fall on his butt. I say the smooth talker winds up on his butt.

15. Obama's a weasel like any other politician.
First he says so what to Wright's insanity. Then he says he knew nothing about it. Then he rambles in a speech on racism that has nothing to do with the Wright matter.
Only after Obama sees how much damage this hater is doing does he take a stand. Obama's no different from other pols, but he's worse because he pretends to be so much better.
