Johnson (see photo of Wright caring for Johnson after his 1966 surgery). Before leaving the position in 1967, the White House awarded Wright three letters of commendation.[11][12][13]

In 1967 Wright enrolled at Howard University in Washington, D.C., where he earned a bachelor's degree in 1968 and a master’s degree in English in 1969. He also earned a master's degree from the University of Chicago Divinity School.[9] Wright holds a Doctor of Ministry degree (1990) from the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio, where he studied under Samuel DeWitt Proctor, a mentor to Martin Luther King.[14]

Our ministers influence us in how we perceive the world....so this scares me...altho Obama's wife's published racial comments about black supremacy during her college years began the downward spiral . 29. It is tempting to pity the individuals that still try and make excuses for Obama. In some instances you cannot blame them for falling under his well written speeches, that he introduced to the college students and bush haters.. Black America will not denounce any of this because they vote for Obama simply because he is black..If Edwards and Hillary were the choices every black voter would vote for the first black lady hillary, and everyone knows that..Now that many white Obama supporters realize they screwed up and fell under Obamas all speech and no substance, it is unfortunatley to late...Does anyone honeslty think that the superdelegates would ever give the nod to Hilliary? There would be race riots in every city, so the democratic party has imploded because the 94% of black Americans that voted for Obama cannot elect him in the general.. John McCain will win almost every state in the general election, and the "white man" will still be accused of being racist....
