167. 138. AL is a creep. She manipulated the photos to make them look sexier than they were supposed to be. AL is a dirtbag. A creep, and a pervert Lezbo. Shame on her! There are a million photogs out there. They all take good pics. AL is famous for PROVOCATIVE photos. That is the only reason she is famous. Because she likes to get people to take their clothes off so she can take dirty photos. it's her "thing."

169. Leibovitz clearly chose to "arouse the prurient interest" of the viewer in a 15 year old girl, which is illegal, and she and VF should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. AL enticed Miley,who at 15 cannot give legal consent to these sexually exploitive photos, into these shots after her parents had gone from the shoot. For all of Annie's and VF's defenders, question, why didn't Annie mention these "natural and beautiful portrait" ideas to Billy Ray when he was on set? Anyone, anyone? Wonder what the state of California thinks of Annie's "beautiful" shots-especially since they have tightened up their child abuse and sexual exploitation laws?

Whatever Annie Liebowitz's intentions might have been, the fact remains that ...

(1) After the photo shoot was over and before Vanity Fair went into production for this feature, Billy Ray saw each and every photo that AL took of his daughter. He didn't complain at all. He could have gone ballistic; he could have gone to court to block publication. But no, he did nothing at all after seeing these "sexually exploitive photos".

(2) Only after Disney raised a fuss did Billy Ray start acting shocked and indignant. Keep in mind that Disney is Miley's meal ticket.

Since you contend that AL and VF "should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law", then by your own criteria, Billy Ray should also be prosecuted just as stringently for the same offenses.

I direct your attention to Billy Ray's response to the photos on ET Online. He contends that he NEVER saw the digital pictures of the "money shot" until they were plastered all over the internet. In addition, he said that Miley never told him about the photo and that he and his wife gave no consent to Leibovitz and never would have. She's(AL) clearly at fault and the full force of the law should come crashing down on her and Vanity Fair.

172. This is so stupid!!! Has anyone seen the video that was shot while the pictures were taken????? Billy & his daughter looked like they were having a grand old time. Tell me this , How does (BOTH) Father and daughter get tricked into this photo? They picked out the photo together. Then when everyone ( Parents) thorws a fit about it then She and Billy are sorry and all of a sudden its Annie Leibovitz fault. Remember thiese are the same parents that ( SOME NOT ALL) that let their daughters dress up like hookers for Holloweene. Miley at least was covered. I understand she is 14 years old (and I my self am a motherso I understand ) But her and her parents have to also admit they were wrong . Either that or admit they are a few crayons short of a full box=] You just dont get hoodwinked into taking off your cloths.

176. Annie is very professional. She is also very kind to those who work for her. If you want to be upset with someone, it shouldn't be Annie. She was doing her job. Her parents could have asked for a different kind of photographs. But, they didn't did they?
Quit using Annie as a scapegoat.

179. Um hello! This picture was not taken and then immediately put into a magazine and shipped to the stands. I am sure there was a process where EVERYONE involved discussed which pics looked best and which should be used. So even if her parents weren't there when the pic was taken, they saw it before it was chosen to go in the mag. And I don't understand all the hype about this girl anyway. She is not that great of a singer or actress I don't care how old she is

180. Annie Leibovitz has had a long career as one of the most successful and talented celebrity photographers of all time. For someone as young and cheesy as Miley to get shot by her, she should feel lucky to get the opportunity! The girl wears clothes that are too mature for her and way too much makeup. She is way over-exposed for a 15 year old. This is definitely the fault of her parents, Disney, and herself, not a respected magazine and photographer!

And why are some of you calling Leibovitz creepy and/or talking badly about her appearance? You obviously know nothing about her and have never seen her work (or are just gullible, immature, and petty!)
