41. I love Neil Diamond. They just gave me a reason to actually watch the show now.
Then again, I grew up with parents who listened to him all the time. I think you wind up liking, or at the very least have a sense of respect, for music you grew up around. So yes, Neil Diamond gets my vote. There are a lot of young people on this site, I don't blame them for not being overly excited about him, though.

45. Can you believe what just happened on American Idol. Paula was to give her critique of Jason Castro after the 1st song. As she read from her card she gave him a critique for the 1st song and the 2nd song that he had not sung yet. Then she went on to say it will be a struggle for him to make it to the top four, then she realized that he had not sung the second song. She looked like an ass and exposed American Idol for what it is ( Making money off of kids backs). This leads me to further believe that the judges are given material and told what to say to influence votes. American Idol knows who it wants to be a star so why do we vote........
