46. Brooke looked and sang beautifully tonight. She and David Cook are the very best. Jason is not a good singer and his awful hair turns me off. So glad that the tattoo Carly is gone. Both she and Jason are very good looking people. Why would they deliberately look like trailer trash?

52. Why are they picking such " has been " song writer tunes for American Idol. The show needs some more umpf. Try Nickelback instead of the lame 50's 60's music the show is promoting. Why do they do this? Do they think by celebrating some
" has been " they're reaching another generation of viewers. News Flash-- They are just boring the heck out of the viewers that do watch the show and they're making good singers sing lousy songs. Then of course, injustice prevails when the judges blast the singers, instead, they should be saying, --->>> Andrew Lloyd Webber, your songs are boring and they suck the big one.

55. AI has been boring since Taylor Hicks. He was the last 'real' performer on the show that made me tune in every week. The 2 best from this years have already been voted off!

57. confession time: i'm one of those 'blasted boomers' y'all think are so LAME-O and I love Neil Diamond. You're not going to find too many more prolific songwriter / singers around. You might not care for his style but he sells out EVERYWHERE he goes. As to AI wanna-be's only Brooke and David C. did any kind of justice to his songs.
