Lets Get This Party Started
Miley Muzzled by Mouse for Months?

We won't be seeing much of Miley Cyrus for a little while after Leibogate – at least until her corporate parents at Disney decide it's safe to let her back on the streets.

So says a "high-ranking Disney employee" cited by the New York Post, who claims, "You won't be seeing her for a while. The company is keeping her away from events ... They're trying to keep her contained." Let's see how long that lasts.

Vanity Fair magazine, meanwhile, is awaiting a rabid rush on its June issue when it rolls out tomorrow.

LC Loves McCain Just Like Heidi?

This could have far-reaching electoral implications: Looks like the girls of "The Hills" are firmly on the side of the GOP.

New York magazine reports that at the White House Correspondents' dinner over the weekend, Lauren Conrad let her political allegiances slip during Craig Ferguson's speech. When Craig asked, very rhetorically, "Should I vote for the Republicans?" LC went nuts, clapping "wildly." But when Ferguson went the other way, so did LC, wrinkling her nose.

Apparently, she also didn't appreciate a jab at George Bush. They are O.C. girls, after all.

Mindy Mac -- Yep, I Was With the Rocket

Mindy McCready has gone ahead and confirmed the rumors reported yesterday that she and Roger Clemens had a long-term affair.

"Yes, I have known Roger Clemens for a long time," said McCready, reading from a statement she gave to the New York Daily News, which broke the story. She said she couldn't refute anything in the Daily News' story, which alleged that Clemens and McCready first met when the singer was 15, and that Clemens even helped Mindy through her legal troubles of the last 4 years.

Party Favors: Uma Takes Stand Against Stalker Today ... Matt McConaughey's B.O. Gets the Axe ... Dept. of All Well in the World: Chesney Cleared to Perform

Uma Thurman is scheduled to testify against alleged stalker Jack Jordan in court today, after her brother told the court yesterday of an extremely creepy phone conversation he had with Jordan. Even his lawyer called him "creepy." ... Matthew McConaughey has long been known as one of the celebuverse's smelliest creatures, and AXE has decided enough is enough. They've sent him a one-year supply of something they're calling the Bullet, a pocket-sized bodyspray. Probably not quite enough, but it's a start. ... Kenny Chesney has been given the green light from doctors to continue his Poets & Pirates tour after injuring his foot last Saturday night in Columbia, S.C.

17. Liberal butch girl Annie set Miley up for a huge fall, or introduced her to the world of pervs and porn... and her parents are in on it or morbidly stupid. Must be a jealous/envy thing going on with Vanity Fair throwing the sweet young talent under the bus too.

18. Miley is ugly and smoker's voice of 29. I'm sure disney has a long line of real talent to take her place. If I was Disney i would get rid of her watch her true colors come out partying and F**kin off. Get some real role models for our children!!
I'm sick of her already!!!!

19. Miley is a jerk. She gets these nice photos taken for Vanity Fair WITH BOTH HER PARENTS PRESENT and she wants to act like she got duped. Don't like this chick.

20. Just another almost was has been. She apologized for that pic of her with a sheet on. As well she should, she looks terrible in that pic like a skinny little boy. It's only a matter of time before she goes down Britney/Lindsay/Paris/ect...Road and becomes just another Hollywood stat. I don't blame her all that much cause she's a victim her dad is an idiot.

23. Good. Maybe we can stop being force-fed Miley stories for awhile and move on. Seems like TMZ and other news agencies have a habit of running a one-trick pony into the ground. Last I heard, there were a few other celebrities still out there, other than Miley Cyrus, Paris Hilton, etc.

24. The Rocket used to be a sports hero of mine. No more and no wonder Mindy went over the edge and off the rails. Paul Harvey, tell us the rest of the story. And from Mindy to Miley, what's up with her, actin' all shocked that Anne took posed photos of her in the presence of her parents and undoubtedly a variety of handlers. This is the celebrity gaffe of the year, if not the decade. Her next song should be a lil' funk number titled No Blouse in the House, Mouse.

25. Miley (or whatever her name is) is far too young to be looking so old.

I feel sorry for her in a way, as she is still a child and is looking 20 or older. Her dress at the CMA (I think it was) was far too revealing for a kid, and the high heels were a laugh! I wasn't wearing lipstick at 15 (yes, I know, I am old).

26. Disney my child will not be watching her show anymore. Find kids that have real talent kids that want to make it, that are working hard in schools of art training at there skills to enhance them and Disney can do that instead, Billy Ray used connections to get her on Disney made her his retirement cash cow, and starting on his baby daughter.

27. To #26 Lilarose, I agree with you and I am old too. Why in the hell is everyone so damn concerned with pushing kids into the adult world? I am disappointed in her parents and although my grand-daughter is a big fan of Miley Cyrus, I will not spend another dime on anything concerning her. As far as blaming the photographer, Annie Leibowitz has been doing this for alot of years and anyone with a brain knows her style. Billy Ray has no career to speak of so I guess he must jump on the bandwagon with his 15 year old and make her look cheap and tawdry. At least Walt Disney had kids being kids, after he died it all went to hell. The Disney Corporation sold out and left childhood innocence in the dust...now they all look like Britney wanna-be's and as trashy as possible. Don't they have morality clauses anymore? apparently not. I still say that a 15 year old has no business posing like that. SHE IS TOO DAMN YOUNG!

28. I'm sick of seeing this ugly girl all over damn she's turning into another Paris people are getting tired...

Posted at 11:40AM on Apr 29th 2008 by tina

29. Hey U KNOW.......
You may think that about LC....but she is where she is and you are....well, a loser who posts on TMZ.
Hahahahahahahhahahah....

Posted at 11:01AM on Apr 29th 2008 by get an effing life morons!

30. I think the Miley Cyrus pics are horribly inappropriate. The bedsheet pic should please the perverts... I think it's equally disgusting that her country bumpkin father was okay with her draped all over him like a lover. It's obvious to me Miley has no respect for the platform that she has been given.

By the way, haven't we heard pedophiles describe perverse photography as "art" before?? Annie L. can describe the shots as artistic until she's blue in the face; as far as I'm concerned, a 15 year old girl has no business being photographed in a sexual light, PERIOD. FOX News Judicial Analyst Judge Andrew Napalitano said it best yesterday when he explained that the shoot equated to child abuse; children under the age of 18, by California statute, are not to be photographed in an erotic sense for money. To turn her into a sex object under the age of 18 is impairing her welfare as a child. I think ol' Billy Ray could have his hands full with this PR nightmare...
