Lets Get This Party Started
Miley Muzzled by Mouse for Months?

We won't be seeing much of Miley Cyrus for a little while after Leibogate – at least until her corporate parents at Disney decide it's safe to let her back on the streets.

So says a "high-ranking Disney employee" cited by the New York Post, who claims, "You won't be seeing her for a while. The company is keeping her away from events ... They're trying to keep her contained." Let's see how long that lasts.

Vanity Fair magazine, meanwhile, is awaiting a rabid rush on its June issue when it rolls out tomorrow.

LC Loves McCain Just Like Heidi?

This could have far-reaching electoral implications: Looks like the girls of "The Hills" are firmly on the side of the GOP.

New York magazine reports that at the White House Correspondents' dinner over the weekend, Lauren Conrad let her political allegiances slip during Craig Ferguson's speech. When Craig asked, very rhetorically, "Should I vote for the Republicans?" LC went nuts, clapping "wildly." But when Ferguson went the other way, so did LC, wrinkling her nose.

Apparently, she also didn't appreciate a jab at George Bush. They are O.C. girls, after all.

Mindy Mac -- Yep, I Was With the Rocket

Mindy McCready has gone ahead and confirmed the rumors reported yesterday that she and Roger Clemens had a long-term affair.

"Yes, I have known Roger Clemens for a long time," said McCready, reading from a statement she gave to the New York Daily News, which broke the story. She said she couldn't refute anything in the Daily News' story, which alleged that Clemens and McCready first met when the singer was 15, and that Clemens even helped Mindy through her legal troubles of the last 4 years.

Party Favors: Uma Takes Stand Against Stalker Today ... Matt McConaughey's B.O. Gets the Axe ... Dept. of All Well in the World: Chesney Cleared to Perform

Uma Thurman is scheduled to testify against alleged stalker Jack Jordan in court today, after her brother told the court yesterday of an extremely creepy phone conversation he had with Jordan. Even his lawyer called him "creepy." ... Matthew McConaughey has long been known as one of the celebuverse's smelliest creatures, and AXE has decided enough is enough. They've sent him a one-year supply of something they're calling the Bullet, a pocket-sized bodyspray. Probably not quite enough, but it's a start. ... Kenny Chesney has been given the green light from doctors to continue his Poets & Pirates tour after injuring his foot last Saturday night in Columbia, S.C.

31. GOOD FOR DISNEY!! Without them she wouldn't have a f u c k i n g job. She needs to respect the people that helped her become what she is today. STOP ACTING LIKE A TRASHY W H O R E.

32. Talk about blown out of proportion much, BLURT! (currently post # 30).. there's a complete different in a CELEBRITY in the PUBLIC EYE being photographed in that light rather than some regular 15 year old.. you and I know there's a huge difference there. She wasn't naked, not even close.. it was a pretty picture of a pretty girl.. it would've been the same thing had she had a TUBE TOP on.. all you can see is her back! She'd be showing more if she were in her swim suit! I think YOU'RE the pervert for even taking it as sexual at all. IT WAS A PHOTO SHOOT FOR VANITY FAIR.. NOT J14! GET-OVER-IT.

33. Get over it! Those pics were very tasteful and nothing wrong with them. I agree most people are just jealous that their kids are so untalented that they are not in the spotlight!

35. People....all the fuss about the Miley photo is WHAT THE PHOTO IMPLIED!! It was obvious it implied she was naked in bed with the sheets pulled up to cover her breasts. The IMPLIED sexual connotation was what was so inappropriate. Then there is the DADDY/DAUGHTER photo! WAY TO PROVOCATIVE for a father and daughter to be posing like that!!! Who will you blame for THAT ONE BILLY RAY????

The Cyrus family needs to take FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS! If they don't have COMPLETE LEGAL FINAL APPROVAL on EVERYTHING Miley does professionally, then THEY ARE REALLY DUMB!!!! She is A MINOR AND HER PARENTS ARE HER LEGAL GUARDIANS so they should have legal contracts drawn up where they have to sign off and approve EVERYTHING before FINAL PRINTING!! My guess is it WAS APPROVED BY HER PARENTS and they DIDN'T EXPECT ALL THE BACKLASH!! Vanity Fair needs to come forward and show proof that her parents APPROVED! Produce the CONTRACT!!!

36. Miley cyrus? like her parents weren't aware crap like this can happen to young girls in the limelight? Right.

As for Roger and his wench, it's shameful on his part if true, but... why is she so proud of it? sick B*$#@ just shows what a stupid, naive girl she was.

37. Wait, I'm confused... the High School Musical chick can pose in tasteless, nude photos that get leaked all over the internet and Disney is fine with it. But, when one of the world's greatest portrait photographers conducts a professional shoot with her for a classy magazine (let's face it, it's not like it was Playboy or Maxim) in an artistic fashion, all of a sudden, she needs "to lie low" because Disney is afraid of the way this looks? Hi, Pot, this is Kettle...your black!

38. I COMPLETELY AGREE with Joshua^^. And DJ you're taking this a liiiiittle bit too seriously.. get back to your own life and stop worrying about Miley's so much. I think you're just jealous your kids are talentless.

39. Doesnt she or her family have enough money that they have to exploit a 15-year old in provacative pictures with her FATHER just to make a buck? I'd think she can feed a small army of homeless people with all the money she NOW has and continuies to EARN without exploiting the body of a 15 year old......pretty pathetic! She's not even attractive!

41. Big deal. I posed for FAR riskier polaroids when I was her age!!

42. > "If I were Miley, I would tell Disney to kiss my grits and move on." Posted at 9:04AM on Apr 29th 2008 by Regis

I don't think that would be wise and I expect that it would pretty much bankrupt Miley. She is under contract, or more accurately, since minors lack the legal capacity to enter into contracts, Miley's parents are under contract with Disney. You can bet the ranch that if Miley (Miley's parents) reneges on that contract she will be slammed with what would amount to the breach-of-contract lawsuit from hell nailing her with liability to reimburse Disney for profits lost during the remaining term of the contract, which could easily be estimated to be mega millions. Fact is, I would bet that Miley is at serious risk of being dumped by Disney and that the Cyrus family are hearing rumors of breach-of-contract lawsuit rumblings in the Disney executive boardroom and executive discussions about breach of the morality clause in her contract. And you can also bet the ranch that there IS a "morality clause" in Miley's contract.

43. What about Vanessa Hudgens? Disney should've fired that skank but I guess they're only doing this to Miley for publicity.

Posted at 12:29PM on Apr 29th 2008 by Vanessa Hudgens

44. She is a lass of just fifteen, three years too young, it would seem, to be provacatively posed in a magazine for adults. But whatever, she is the one guilty of blowin' up this story by cryin' the blues over the pics. Ooops, a Disney girl did it again, oh well, pictures happen.
