47. Ricky Martin is using his star power to launch "Llama y Vive" or "Call and Live," a campaign to prevent human trafficking from Latin America and also provide services for victims.

"Call and Live" has already been implemented in Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Peru, and Nicaragua. Now, it's expanding to five more Latin American countries.

Lets talk about his foundation and what he's doing for hopeless/helpless people in the world. Unlike a none Hispanic artist, what other artist have you heard of that's doing something for society? Like stopping child trafficking? If you know of any please post the artist name I’d like to know..

A great example: Paris Hilton a rich girl that became famous thanks to her rich grandparents. What does she do for society? NOTHING!!! She’s a bad influence to our young girls that follow her stupidity like dressing up with short skirts walking around with a black berry on her left hand and a little puppy on her right hand. Ummm yeah that’s doing something for society.. Ok next person Brittany spears, very wealthy person that’s a train wreck lost her children walks around with no panties driving like nut job, using, and drugs… What does she do for society? NOTHING!!!!!!

I keep going with artist that do nothing to help those in need but I’m sure you all know who they are So you know what don’t put a person down when this person is doing a great job helping people in our society…

Do something yourself, make a donation to those in need….. Sitting here and mocking someone that you don’t even know makes you look like you’re just jealous….

52. I agree with you Leah, we should focus on other things.
BUT, although Martin has confirmed he is heterolsexual many times, he himself said for people to fantasize about him however they want.
Ricky most likely said that out of frustration because no matter how often he stated he wasn't a butt banger, people still called him gay, so he gave up. But seriously, if an entertainer says for people to fantasize about them however people want - then people will.
It isn't spiritual or enlightened to decide to say nothing,(as he has done on occasion) it is just creating bait for the Britney and Paris like gossip hounds. But what can he do
As RM said in Look interview (by Sally Morgan) 2000 "I guess these rumours were started by people who don't have a life, or perhaps it's because they want me to be like them and I'm not. 56. I was just watching this on TV. Is interesting how they make fun of the art of Capoeira and call it "glorified brakedancing"... obviously tmz doesnt even know what they are talking about. Me and my husband do Capoeria and he has been doing it for 13 years. It is the most amazing work out and it is way more than "breakdancing" you guys need to make some more research and try it out before you can make fun of it. I bet ricky can kick some tmz ass anytime!!!
