Ryan Ain't No Dunkelman!

Ryan SeacrestSo there's a story floating around that "Idol" honchos are thinking of 86'ing Ryan Seacrest because ratings are down.

In case you don't know, we have spies! We're told producers are privately laughing at the stories because the ratings are still through the roof and "Idol" pulls in a s**tload of money. And so does Ryan Seacrest, who ain't going nowhere.

Bloodbaths are reserved for contestants only. No parking please.

16. Leona I know election coverage is on around the clock but the Idol time slot is competing with "the juicy election coverage" time slot LOL
O'reilly Factor for one and so many others. This election is not just any election, its historical.

17. If the ratings are down, it's because the show is played out. How many years do we have to go through this? It's boring. It's not because of Ryan, it's because its freaking endless!

18. AI needs to get rid of whoever is making these terrible artist selections. America is tuning out because the artists they are showcasing are boring and their songs are depressing. When they choose a decade at least the contestant has a pool of artists to choose from. They need to go back two years when the ratings were breaking records.

" Achemyheadoff"...that is a keeper!!! good one....don't want to knock him but he has absolutely no command of anything...NOT a " American Idol"...this season was disappointing...at least if Michael Johns was there...Cook SHOULD win...but he isn't AWESOME like Daughtry...whatever..

22. If Paula reading the wrong comment for the wrong contestant for the wrong song doesn't prove to people that this show is scripted from beginning to end I don't know what will. The producers pick the contestants beginning with the auditions, to the top 10, and the order of their eliminating. They hand picked the talent this year and most are not armatures. They pick the winner, the runner up and so forth. NO amount of voting will change the out come. WAKE UP AMERICA!

23. "It's the themes, stupid."

Tonight's show was unwatchable. I DVR'ed it, and it was impossible to sit through, so I didn't. I skipped ahead through most of it, and there was NOT ONE performance I watched for more than 8 seconds.

24. Since Michael Johns left the show, and the way Ryan sent him home, made me HATE the show!
Michael was in my opinion, the best on the show. He kept me watching week after week, until he was sent home unfairly.

25. Gosh I wish they would get rid of Seacrest. Idol I think would do so much better without that diva on the show. I miss how they use to have "guest judges"... they do the same crap now.. same songs... why don't they make them create their own song and sing it... do something entertaining.. just because you made a new stage doesn't mean crap. I loveeeee season 1 because they were original.. as each idol goes on, the more fake it seems. We have David Cook, who is a "rocker"... come on.. give me someone like Alice Cooper.. that's a rocker.. I'm sick of all these crappy people doing so well. That is why I stopped watching the show. You can tell which genre of music idol wants to win that season and they push it.. they don't have a rocker..so since day 1 its obvious that is where they are headed.. These people don't have talent any more. Its a joke ever since 60 year old Taylor Hicks won. Its all a joke now.. they neeed to get rid of Paula and the Diva Seacrest... get some new people in there.. bring back the guest judges.. stop picking the same songs... get people that can really sing!

26. I THINK HAVING RYAN ON THE SHOW IS VERY SMART, I HAVE BEEN WATCHING THE SHOW SINCE IT FIRST AIR AND I WILL CONTINUE TO WATCH THE SHOW, WITH RYAN BEING ON. IF THEY WERE TO LET HIM GO, THEN IT WOULD NOT BE THE SAME. THE REASON WHY IT IS A SUCCESS IS BECAUSE OF HIM AND THE CONTESTANTS. JUST ADDING HIM TO THE MIX IS VERY COMICAL AND REFRESHING,

27. American Idol has certainly gone downhill this year. I imagine there are a lot of reasons for that. The publicity around David Cooks brother's cancer issues makes the show painful to watch. Our society is innandated with cancer these days and being reminded of it constantly is a definite turn off. Ryan Seacrest does a fine job. He's happy, positive and charasmatic. Outstanding charasmatic singers, more action and less negativity would make this show much more enjoyable.

28. Rating are down because the show sucks. Ryan sucks too, but he's being scapegoated here!

29. I'm sure this entry is indirectly referring to what votefortheworst has been saying. I personally despise Seacrest. The fake "witty" banter with Simon. C'mon! Seacrest used to be pretty cruel to contestants in seasons past, being sarcastic and downright rude at times. He seems to be behaving better this season, but I still think the show would be better without him.

30. TMZ's spies? Their "spies" on Dancing With the Stars" proved to be misinformational moron's concerning Christian's imminent injury-induced departure. I'm just sayin'
