AI needs to bring itself into present times and do away with these ridiculous themes, forcing the contestants to make pathetic song choices. THAT's the problem.

34. Even if ratings are down why would that be attributed to Ryan? I stopped watching after last season because they are more concerned with laughs than talent and the best singers have not been making it to the finals as a result. The theme nights full of corny music got on my nerves as well. It's just not entertaining for me anymore and I can't even force myself to watch it even if nothing else is on.

36. When Michael Johns left, I stopped watching. I can't begin to tell you how upset that made me. The reason the ratings are down for Idol is because it has become a popularity rather than a talent show. Voting should be limited to one vote per person. Sounds like "they" are trying to make Ryan a scapegoat. I think he mostly does a good job, (except for how he treated Michael Johns)!!

41. They're foolish not to get rid of Ryan. He absolutely drags the show down. He has no personality whatsoever. No sense of humor whatsoever. He is dull and flat. And when he does try to be funny, it's embarrassing and irritating. He can read off of a teleprompter. Wow, what a talent. He's a real legend in the making, let me tell you. He's an energy vacuum that sucks the life out of everything. Yaaaawwwn...

45. Ryan is the best and I know they will keep him involved in the show. As far as Idol goes, I am unhappy with this season. Some of the best have been voted off the show. David A is very boring but all the "kiddies" like him. If he wins, within a year he will be gone just like Taylor Hicks. Jason should have been gone long ago and Michael should still be there. What is with Jason and the dreads? They are so dirty looking. Carley was great, Brooke is very talented and Syesha is excellent. If the girls get voted off this week and next, then I will not finish watching the show. If only the guys are remaining, then David Cook should win. Please send David A back to school. He has no personality, excitment when he sings and no expression on his face. Just a goofy look.
