So there's a story floating around that "Idol" honchos are thinking of 86'ing Ryan Seacrest because ratings are down.
In case you don't know, we have spies! We're told producers are privately laughing at the stories because the ratings are still through the roof and "Idol" pulls in a s**tload of money. And so does Ryan Seacrest, who ain't going nowhere.
Bloodbaths are reserved for contestants only. No parking please.

The Ratings are Down BECAUSE the Dancing With the Stars show shares the exact same time slot (on the East Coast) on Tuesday nights and it seems to have grown SO much in popularity over this past year! I personsally have never seen Dancing with the Stars, but if I invite my mom or sister over to watch Idol on Tuesdays they now say they have to watch the "dancers" , they are hooked on that show and they were huge IDOL fans. Same time slot.... Howver, also, though, MAYBE IDOL could stop with all the themes of eras most are not familiar with! You state the show is down viewers 18 - 45, well how about a MoTown night, a Disco night, a grunge rock night, a hip hop night, a dance song night... somehting that 18 - 45's can relate to, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers Neil Sedaka, Diana Ross Andrew Lloyd Weber, Paul McCartney, CMONNNN they are ALL over 60! And Mariah and Jlo were ONLY there to promote their new cd's! How about Bruce Springsteen as a guest host or Bon Jovi, or Gwen Stefani, Fergi, or Kelly Clarkson, or you know you get my point... But Ryan and Simon and Paula and Randy are all FANTASTIC!

48. Ryan Seacrest is great - on American Idol or elsewhere. I think the ratings would plummet if he were to leave. Ryan is a natural and that's why he's so successful.
