Disney's Dirty Little (Victoria's) Secret

4/30/2008 1:59 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

So if you're buyin' what Disney has been sellin' lately -- that they are appalled by the Vanity Fair pics of Miley Cyrus -- you're more gullible than a weapons inspector in Iraq.Click to see photos
TMZ has turned up Disney ads marketing lacy, sexy lingerie by models who are made to look underage. They're hawking bras, undies and lacy boy shorts. They are nothing short of seductive. The photos are being used by Shanghai Zhenxin Garment Company to sell Disney clothes in China.

So who "manipulated" Winnie the Pooh into a three-way with jail-bait looking chicks? For the record, Annie Leibovitz didn't take these photos.

Calls to Disney were not immediately returned.

50. Just because they have Pooh on the label doesn't mean they are being marketed by disney. China is well known for pirating name brands and selling them.

But what do you have to say about what Cassie wrote in message 49? She was there in China. Were you?

For you who think the movie freezes are fiction - just read "Between the Ears". The illustrators of those movies BRAG about how the dust spells "SEX" and Betty Bop has no underwear on and on and on and on. Furthermore, it betrays Disneyland's proclivity to hire pedifiles and the lawsuits which have come out by gropping, spy-holes to the bathrooms etc. Disney should just take off the pretty little gloves and sell stuff like grand theft auto, complete with exlicit porn - then the innocent wouldn't be washed away with the filth.

Disney Co. lost its Ethics and Moral high ground when Michael Eisner left, at least he honored the memory and wishes of Creator Walt Disney.
I'm only 25 years old and in my 25 years I've seen Disney deteriorate from a parents 'save haven' for entertainment to what it is now, a money pit with no moral compass.

I totally agree.

And now, Disney only pays lip service to this "safe haven" ideal. They still try to pander to the Family Values people, which is why they are shedding crocodile tears about Miley's Vanity Fair escapade. But they also pander to a different segment of society with their thinly veiled eroticism.

Why isn't Disney suing Vanity Fair or Annie Liebowitz? I say it's because they're all in the same business, and too much of that would come out into the public awareness during testimony if such a suit ever made it to court. All Disney is doing is issuing a few sharp words to placate the Family Values crowd and asking Miley to lay low for a while. Meanwhile, I'm sure that they are busy trying to figure out how to capture as much profit as possible from the increased media attention on Miley that this controversy is generating.

Also, don't forget that ABC is owned by Disney. How many shows on that network are filled with sex, violence, and other kinds of pandering?

Okay - HULLO - first of all - this is advertising in JAPAN not AMERICA - so beyond the fact that TMZ insists on turning innocence into sleaze every single chance it gets - this has nothing to do with us so how does it consistute news.
I for one - will be so happy when Levin starts getting hit with defamation lawsuits and such

It's all about money these days. Walt is long gone. What a shame. Nothing is sacred anymore. It makes me sick.

I was surprised by the phrase "more gullible than a weapons inspector in Iraq." Your allusion seems to suggest that weapons inspectors were duped by the Iraqi government, which was secretly hiding weapons of mass destruction. Perhaps you haven't been following the news for the last few years, but there weren't actually any WMDs found in Iraq. Please do your readers a favor and try to keep up with current events.

60. Bad news: The ad is pushing to people interested in little girls' panties.

Good news: The women in the ad are little women, not little girls. They're short, skinny, and wearing a good amount of make-up, but they are in their twenties.

But in the other ad mentioned above, that girl couldn't possibly be 18 or over. She looks more like 13 or 14.

By the way, if you think that these photos are inappropriate and encourage pedophiles, why print fifteen full-color images? Either you don't think these pictures are immoral, and you're creating a scandal just to get hits on your site, or you do think that they are immoral, and you are perpetuating the crime in order to get hits on your site. Either way, your stance is at least as exploitative as Disney's is. The only difference is that you affect a tone of moral superiority.

Oh yeah, and it turned out that there were no WMDs in Iraq. If you go to a real news outlet you can catch up on the events of the last few years.

So do you believe in moral relativism? In other words, do you think it's OK for Disney to exploit underage girls in countries where that's part of their culture?

For those people in the U.S. who are looking to Disney to be one of their guardians of "family values", it has to be disturbing that Disney freely engages in practices that offend the Christian morals of these American families, just for the sake of making money in other countries.

On the other hand, nothing that I said here should be taken to contradict your assessment of Mr. Slime Bucket (Harvey Levin).

61. So, does this mean Asian guys have American school girl
fantasies?

Posted at 4:17PM on Apr 30th 2008 by Amanda
=======================================

You betcha! Check out some Japanese anime porn. A large proportion of those fantasies involve depictions of large-breasted American-looking females with wide-eyed, girlish looks who are wearing slutty, schoolgirl-style clothing.

Miley Cyrus was NOT selling underthings....she was selling herself. A bit of difference.

25. What a find TMZ, the dirt is too revealing. Disney is a powerhouse though. ... Maybe that's why I love TMZ so much. You guys are not afraid to look at the truth, and bring a laugh and smile to people's faces while doing that.

One out of every few hundred TMZ articles happens to hit on something that is marginally relevant. The rest of them are juvenile, voyeuristic trash.

Put a few dozen monkeys in a room with a bunch of typewriters, and you'll end up with a better relevancy ratio than that ... and more evolved writing skills, to boot.
