Matthew Modine hurled the N-word for all to hear on "The O'Reilly Factor" last night. He was making a point about Reverend Jeremiah Wright and then mentioned his daddy, who used to refer to blacks as uppity N****rs. The N-word was bleeped, but what Matt is saying is plain as day.

#1) That's funny....your mom told me she does too>>>>>>
Another airhead liberal who makes absolutely NO sense. So pathetic....shut the hell up moron. We pay your ass to "act" not to be a political analyst. You simply embarrass yourself.
in no way was what he said wrong. they aren't his views. he was just explaining his fathers racial views. i'm sure people are going to say he's a bigot. yet whatch the entire interview and you will see different. either way wrong or not this is america and he can say whatever the hell he likes.
The poll isn't clear. Are you asking if he should have said uppity N or are you asking if his take on Wright is correct?
I sort of cut slack for people over 45 (on a case by case basis) who use that word because it was a word that was part of their life, educational and television experiences (How many times did we hear the Archie Bunker or George Jefferson character use that word in prime time television? A lot.). It was a word said by a lot of people in authority. I heard it from school principals, doctors and preachers. The use of that word denotes that person's lack of verbal skills and sensitivity...
But there is no way I tolerate that word in anyone for any reason under the age of 45.....
"uppitty nigggers" is not a term which is germaine to the topic of racist "Rev" Wright
It is just a word and Jesus was called worst. In the end we will all be judged on our life conduct.
