Modine's Use of the N-Word Just Ain't Wright

Matthew Modine hurled the N-word for all to hear on "The O'Reilly Factor" last night. He was making a point about Reverend Jeremiah Wright and then mentioned his daddy, who used to refer to blacks as uppity N****rs. The N-word was bleeped, but what Matt is saying is plain as day.

61. fricking Modine was on the show as a Card Carrying Liberal, and even gave O'Reilly his own personal card. This idiot Modine plays a tough guy America Loving save his buddies guy in Full Metal Jacket...yet in real life wants nothing to do with our Military or serving his country.

This isnt acting, its deception. I'd say he's the uppity one now. His Dad would be proud I'm sure. He's probably taking it both ways anyway as most liberals want maximum pleasure in life and to make everyone else feel like victims so they can save them and be looked up to, because afterall, the rest of us cant think for ourselves. Bend over Modine

64. So he was calling Wright an "Uppity N''''" right? I mean, O'Reilly asked Modine what he thought of Wright and his response was it brought to mind what his father used to say.

I was willing to give him the benefit of a doubt. But I think that counts as a racial slur. Wright's a jerk, but c'mon.

66. Jeremiah Wright makes racist and anti-american comments all the time. Oh but thats ok right? God forbid a white person say the n word. What kind of world is this? Everyone needs to get over there racism. I don't see color I see people. WTF is wrong with everyone else?

70. Everyone needs to get over themselves. He was referring to how his father use to use the n word, in the context of a conversation about racism. He was not calling anybody that nor was he saying it was ok to do so. Perhaps in the course of trying to mend some things between whites and blacks we could be a bit less overreactive about it, when you know that the person is not a racist and is talking about how he dealt with having a racist father when he was young. A honest conversation it was not a big deal.... chill people chill

72. I'm sick of people who think i owe them something because im white and their great great great great granpappy was an african slave. I do not condone slavery. I have never owned a slave. There have been many times over the years when i could feel the hatred simply because im white. It really ticks me off. Also, people born in America calling themselves African Americans are racist and hateful. You can be proud of your heritage but you should also be proud to be born in the country in which you live strive and survive.

73. Okay, so that all the white folks out there know. You NEVER the "n" word unless you are in Quentin Tarrintino film.

74. Nice to see Modine in front of a camera again. Has he done anything worth watching in years?

75. So his wife is black. Black folks can be just as prejudiced against their own as non-blacks. HE learned it from his dad and his wife that's all. BTW, I'm black and have witnessed self-racism first hand.
