Modine's Use of the N-Word Just Ain't Wright

121. What is Reverend Wright being, then? Why would he venture to spout off AGAIN, and taint Obama? Obama has shown diplomacy twice, and Wright has not. Wright seems more interested in (pride) how he looks (looked) rather than being Christian, and is resorting to telling quite possibly false tales about Obama that Barack undeniably refutes. To say Obama is 'just being a politician' is a fat, gossipy diss, particularly when Obama seems to believe/feel his convictions very deeply.The Bible has some very strong things to say about messing with another man's reputation, and particularly if the reason appears to be self promotion and wounded pride. How on God's green earth can Wright claim to know how Barack Obama feels inside his heart? Wright's comments could more be Wright himself projecting. Rev. Wright got HIMSELF into trouble with that video in the first place, and it looks as though he's decided that if he's going to go down, he's going to take some body with him. It's a nasty shame, is what it is. I think Barack Obama has handled the whole thing with class and dignity, considering. I've concluded from all this that Barack Obama is presidential material, and Mr. Wright is not.

124. Come on people get a thicker skin. We live in the land of the offended. A black guy said in a store the other day; "Wait til Obama becomes President, then we goin to kill all you white people." I just laughed. If they did not have slavery to blame everything on they would find something else. My father still uses this word and we have to tell him it is not exceptable , unless a black person is using it. And of course people like Wright can use it to keep the money flowing and his people oppressed.

134. Personally, coming from someone who is of color, I didn't think he meant it in a harmful way and I'm tired of people cussin and fussin about that word. Who cares, American can't claim freedom of speech and then when someone speaks freely, we get in an uproar.

I have moved passed that word, as long as all my freedoms are in tack, as long as no one is taking my rights away, you can sang a song of the word and I could care less.

We need to stop giving it so much power!!!!
