32. “When I came into the show I had a whole bunch of family and friends … but they had to go to live rehearsal. I was helping my family into rehearsal... I saw Jason Castro on the monitor and I was writing NOTES WHILE helping my family in AT REHEARSAL and I saw only the last 5 minutes of the rehearsal” …. And this was after 22 minutes of commercial time in prep for what would be said on this interview in its entirety ...hmmmm…. I guess Jason is deliberately thrown off between unexpected bad mouthing and then when the poor kid is choked up upon the final critique … you go further to ask if he had a sweet in his mouth??? Seems there is more to this story than meets the eye… seems like AI has been trying to throw Jason under the bus for some time now.
Thank you for getting this up TMZ … at least you seem to onto a big story with the AI debacles ….geez!!!

34. Personally, I think this shows the judges' comments are scripted and that Paula got ahead of herself.She indicated that her comments about the second song were actually about David (Cook?) If this is so, her comments bashed the "second song" but her comments later did nothing but praise David Cook. I think she let the cat out of the bag about comments being scripted.

35. MAJORITY RULES PAULA IS A LOON!!!!!!!!! I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY SHE IS ALLOWED TO JUDGE WHEN SHE CANNOT CARRY A TUNE HERSELF. I FIND IT LAUGHABLE WHEN SHE TRIES TO CRICTIQUE THE TECHNICALITY OF THESE WANNABEE SINGERS. IF AI WAS SMART THEY NEED TO DROP THIS SPACE CADET AND FIND SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT (eg.SIMON COWELL) YES I WAS PISSED WHEN MICHAEL JOHNS AND CARLY GOT KICKED OFF. THE ONLY GOOD SINGER NOW, ON THE SHOW IS DAVID COOK, A FAR DROP FROM MICHAEL JOHNS WHICH ISN'T SAYING ALOT. IF DAVID ARCHULETTA WINS IDOL.....IT WILL PROVE THAT THIS SHOW IS FIXED. WHY DO THE JUDGES LOVE HIM SO MUCH? HE ONLY HAS ONE OCTAVE RANGE AND HIS VOICE SOUNDS THE SAME ON EVERY SONG HE SINGS!!!!!!!!!!!AND HE LOOKS LIKE A REJECT FROM THE LORD OF THE RINGS MOVIE.

36. And, she gets paid how much to do that show????? What a waste!!! She screwed up all last season.....it's time for her to go. This crap was the last straw....there ain't no way she can explain this away with trying to play confused or overwhelmed. She has an excuse for EVERYTHING!!! 37. I've been wanting her to leave for a few years now. Not because she's drunk, high or stupid but because she's boring and unimaginative. She say's the same things over and over, "You made it your own." and "You're a star" and when she tells someone, "First let me say you look beautiful" that means they sucked.

40. What do you guys think? Everybody just rolls in and they shoot a 1 hour live show? She was ob viously reading her notes from the live dress-rehersal they do before they shoot the actual show.

41. I agree with some of the other comments stating that they think she is hooked on painkillers. I think she's been hooked on them for a very long time, many many years. I remember ten fiftenn years ago when Arsenio Hall was dating her and on his show more than once he eluded to her being a hand full and in so many words, nuts. I am jelous that such a no talent nut is a multi millionaire, go figure, I think she was in the right place at the right time.

42. seeing this video shows what I suspected all along ... the network 'scripts'' Paula's (and the others???!) comments. She is reading lines without looking at the singer! And yes!!! I'd LOVE to see her on Dancing With the Stars! Especially if they program it LIVE ... now THAT would be entertainment!

43. Paula just gave away a secret of AI so they are just trying to down play it.... I believe its not up to America its what the judges say... who can say a rehearsal will be the same as the live song... One is always better.. unless you are Jason Castro.. then they both suck!

45. Why don't they get rid of Paula, who is obviously totally inept? Even when she does make sense, she's never really critiquing anyone's performance. Please, get someone who can not only speak coherently, but can also add something of substance.
