Annie Leibovitz -- Mouse Got Yer Tongue?

Disney and the Cyrus family have been tearing Annie Leibovitz a new one since her bareback Miley pic came out in Vanity Fair -- but if the photog is pissed at 'em, she ain't gonna talk about it.

31. Ah, the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast - Disney, no?

32. Those of you who call this is porn- you have a very low standards and a very big imagination.
Those of you who call Annie Liebovitz a man- she's more a man than you'll ever be.

Annie, you got class. That's why people like Disney and the Queen of England hire you.

33. Annie handled it with class, as usual, by not feeding into the stupid American media's neverending uninteresting crap. She is an excellent photographer and artist. I feel sorry she had to work with such talentless hillbilly rubes like the Cyruses. Shouldn't Miley Cyrus be featured in some type of Nascar magazine? I find it unbelievable how they are making such a huge deal out of a picture that is obviously in much better taste than what she wears out on the street. To those of you commenting on Ms. Leibowitz's appearance, shame on you! Why are you so mean?

34. Putting aside the age controversy for a minute, this is just plain one of the ugliest pics of Miley I've seen! She looks like dogmeat, and the lipstick looks like it was put on by a one-armed monkey.

To the folks who claim it's beautiful art - stop using drugs!!!

35. I have some great nude photos of our kids as babies that I am willing to sell to Vanity Fair. There are some well developed 12 year olds in our Connecticut neighborhood who spend time with my daughter. Perhaps Vanity Fair and Ms. Liebowitz could convince them and their parents to allow a nude shoot. As Robert Kuttner has written, everything - EVERYTHING - is for sale in America.

36. Annie is a tough strong man. The Miley Cyrus "thang" is capturing the Redneck "car-is-ma" inherited from the Ackey Breaky Heart Pappa.

Annie is morphing into a dude.

I am going to h-e-double toothpicks for those comments.

I think Ricky Martin trumps Miley.

37. Not happy about the way Miley's family has handled this. Ms Annie L was only doing her job and she does an absolutely fabulous one. that is why you chose her in the first place. and they were there. I am disaapointed with their behavior after the controversy. There is nothing wrong with what miley has done. My daughter and her friends saw nothing in it that would make them think otherwise of miley. they still like her. Very very disappointed. I thought upto this point that they had handled their daughter's career very well. By reacting so badly to the public reaction shows a side that is not nice. to me it shows that success is their aim.

38. Miley was wearing a pair of jeans during that sheet photo shoot. It isn't any different than the teenagers who are wearing those bo ho backless halter smock tops with jeans.

39. Would Annie photograph her own children as she dd Miley?

40. The Cyrus' and Disney are full of crap and trying to crawfish their way out of this one. They wanted to remarket daughter dearest by transforming her into a sexual image. The family is in on the entire photo shoot and the selection of the photos.
Those ungrateful hillbillies should thank their lucky stars that someone of Annie's talent would be wasted on them. Vanity Fair should sue them for being full of it.

41. how in the hell can they be mad a the photographer if the parents were RIGHT THERE during the whole shoot?!?!?!?!? When a female is posed like that....how else could it be interpretated? not to mention....why in the hell would vanity fair want a teenager ? the whole thing is really weird and stupid

43. So what do you expect when a old Lesbian takes some pictures of a sweet young thing?. You think she's going to make her look like she got out of a girl scout meeting? No! She's going to make her look like every Lesbian's fantasies come true! I bet Anna couldnt take her eyes off dat young sweet thing
Don't worry Disney Corp! In 3 years miley will be wearing crochless undies and Hoing about town with Paris, Brittney and Linsey and this will old be as much ancient history as Brittneys Mouseketerr hat!

44. Annie Leibovitz has long made her mark on the history books for being an incredibly fabulous photographer. Folks need to keep in mind that SHE did not set up the photo-shoot; she was just the hired help. But probably even more important is the volume of just overwhelming gay-bashing! Where does any person's sexuality come into play on this issue? It doesn't. It should not be an issue period. It's disheartening to read that many people in this country, and elsewhere too, I imagine, just jump at any slight chance to slam someone because they may be different from them, may have different beliefs, etc. Either some folks need to do some personal work on their own behavior OR they may just need to come out of the closet themselves.
