62. I agree with the comment about Miley's head in her dad's lap ... kinda creepy ?!??!!! From what I understand, the parents knew what was going on, and gave permission ... not much blame can be cast upon the photographer. Plus, we all know that sex SELLS!!! I believe they were "testing" the waters so to speak .. to see what the response would be. Oops .. not so good, huh?! Plus, Billy Ray is washed up and washed out .. he needs to move aside and let Miley shine in the spotlight instread of tagging along, hoping to get some exposure and a career boost .. He is DONE .. stick a fork in him, and move him to the side!

64. Love the person, but condemn the act. I'll never say a homosexual person is going to hell, because that would be judging the person, but I homosexuality (the act) is an abomination and a sin.

Murder is wrong and a sin. Theft, adultery - both wrong and both sins. I can't and don't judge the people who commit them, but the acts are wrong and sinful.

70. I don't know what all the fuss is over. The pictures are not "porn" soft or otherwise. It is a beautiful shot of a young girl. My daughter is the same age and I'm very protective over her and I would have no problem with the picture if it were her. If her parents don't like it, they should have stayed for the whole shoot. And if anyone is to blame, it's the Grandmother that was there and approved the picture. She's a 15 year old girl. Let her be a 15 year old girl. She was completely covered in the shot other than her back. I don't see what the big deal is unless you're a pervert.

You would be putting your own, sinful human words in God's mouth if you try to assert that Lev 20:13 says anything at all about woman-to-woman sex. I'm sure that you are not a blasphemer, right?

Show us Chapter and Verse where _anything_ is said about a woman lying with a woman.

If you assert that we have to take the Bible literally, then you can't pick and choose. You must go by God's Word and NO ONE ELSE'S ... not even your pastor's words, not even Pat Robertson's, and certainly not your own.

Romans 1:26,27,28: "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;"

Where does God define "change the natural use into that which is against nature"? It doesn't say they were lying with each other. This could be any kind of "immorality" that sinful, arrogant human reasoning might want to assign to these words, such as oral sex with men, anal sex with men, etc. Those activities could certainly be thought of as not being the natural uses of the mouth and the anus.

In any case, I don't know what those words mean, AND YOU DON'T KNOW, EITHER. Any meaning you assign to them is from your own human imagination, and nothing more.

And if you believe in taking the Word of God literally, then you can't even rely on the reasonings of "Bible scholars", who also are sinful, arrogant humans who are blaspheming if they try to put words in God's mouth.

The point is that if you want to be a Bible Literalist, then you must take the Bible EXACTLY LITERALLY in 100 percent of the cases WITH NO EXCEPTION, or else you are a hypocrite.

By the way, in the Revelation of John, do you take all the words in that book as being 100 percent literal truth? If so, then you can't start saying that the Beast is simply a representation of the European Union or OPEC or any of the myriads of other interpretations that people have come up with. You must simply take it literally to be some sort of animal. Period. The same holds true for all the other visions that are described in that book.

If, on the other hand, you concede that we cannot always take the Bible as 100 percent literal truth, then you open the door to differences of interpretation. Your pastor says one thing, mine says something else, and Jeremiah Wright says yet another thing. Which one is right?

And then, if we allow those differences in interpretation, then we must allow the Jewish interpretation, which says that Jesus was not the Messiah, or the Islamic interpretation which says that Jesus was holy but not the Son of God, or the Mormon interpretation, or that of the Hindus, or of the Buddhists, or of the Scientologists, or ...

The only way to protect yourself from being deceived by human interpretations is to take what's written in the Bible exactly as is, with no reading between the lines, no interpretation, no pastors, no Bible scholars. Just the words in the book. PERIOD.

Of course, you then will have to deal with challenges when you come across the contradictions, but as long as you don't try to use your sinful human reasoning to resolve them, you'll be OK.
