DC Madame commits suicide Another scandal has racked the capital -- the DC Madam has committed suicide.

Police say Deborah Jeane Palfrey -- who allegedly ran an upscale call girl ring -- killed herself on Thursday at her mother's Florida home.

Palfrey was convicted on April 15th of money laundering, racketeering and using the mail for illegal purposes. She had yet to be sentenced.

26. This is very sad, But, call me suspicious!!!!!!!!!

How convenient for those in her little black book whose lives would probably be ruined by their perverse appetites. And, it was NOT HER FAULT. She was just giving (I mean selling) the men what they wanted. I feel sorry for her. Why aren't the men held more responsible in these situations. It never has been and I am sure it never will be.

30. IT IS A SHAME THAT THIS LADY KILLLED HERSELF. SHE WOULD NOT HAVE DONE SO MANY YEEARS IN JAIL. BUT SHE FELT BEAT, AND SAW NO END. SO SHE TOOK HER OWN LIFE WHAT A SHAME" IT WAS A UNLAWFUL ACT THAT GOT HER IN TROUBLE BUT SHE COULD HAVE OVERCAME IT. REST IN PEACE.
