Another scandal has racked the capital -- the DC Madam has committed suicide.
Police say Deborah Jeane Palfrey -- who allegedly ran an upscale call girl ring -- killed herself on Thursday at her mother's Florida home.
Palfrey was convicted on April 15th of money laundering, racketeering and using the mail for illegal purposes. She had yet to be sentenced.

It does not make any difference if she is dead -- the prosecution still has the evidence to proceed on this case -- if they choose to.
