DC Madame commits suicide Another scandal has racked the capital -- the DC Madam has committed suicide.

Police say Deborah Jeane Palfrey -- who allegedly ran an upscale call girl ring -- killed herself on Thursday at her mother's Florida home.

Palfrey was convicted on April 15th of money laundering, racketeering and using the mail for illegal purposes. She had yet to be sentenced.

49. She "died after committing suicide" really cuz silly me thought that when you committ suicide you die anyway but i guess you die after you kill yourself haha.

52. I don't belive she committed suicide, I had seen her several times on t.v. when the story broke and she said if she was going down she was naming names. Somebody did her in.

53. Suicide my ass. Funny how they can say that and they just found her. How about looking at the evidence before making that claim. Something shady is going down. I bet she was murdered. I dont care if they found a note. They can be forged. This woman had too much dirt on those low lifes. Someone took her out.

54. Sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Funny how high powered people can make it look like a suicide! I can't even imagine that with all the dirt they are not going treating it like a homicide! People think the general public are stupid!

It does not make any difference if she is dead -- the prosecution still has the evidence to proceed on this case -- if they choose to.
She killed herself because, she could't do the time -- for her crime -- typical HO!!!

60. She HUNG herself in a storage shed at her mother's residence and it was her MOTHER that found her.
