What the Hell Does Congress Do All Day?

America's pissed the House of Representatives approved July as National Watermelon Month -- and even the guy who submitted the resolution, Florida Congressman Adam Putnam, thinks it's a waste of time.

17. How about a National Gas Day where we could get gas at half price....................... no that would be a holiday worth talking about ! ! ! ! !

18. I have a theory. Could it be possible that a part of the reason gas prices are soaring is to somehow recover for some the extra refund checks the government will be sending out? Kind of makes sense.

20. If I was the guy who took this video I would feel sorry for myself that I had the attention of a high ranking congressman and I pestered him about the dumbest thing on the planet. How about, "hey Congressman, thank you for fighting to keep my taxes lower and not increase capital gains by 20%." As a side note: there has been a National Roller Skating month before. How dumb is that?

Bottom Line, TMZ should stick to where their bread is buttered: celebrities doing stupid things.

21. Face it the democratic ( I know this is not who the article was about, but it is the same political BS.)congress has done NOTHING since taking over. They are too buisy trying to keep Bush from looking good, so they do nothing that helps the country for political gain. They hust the ones they are to serve. And this shows what a waste of time they do and should have to pay the tax payers back for it all. And we already know that ALL TMZ is liberal democrats too! TMZ and Rolling Stone ( I cancelled my free subscription long ago to this lib rag.) should stay out of politics.
