TMZ has learned Britney Spears is heading to Louisiana for her sister Jamie Lynn's baby shower. Given Britney's track record about showing up places (see: court appearances), we'll believe it when we see it.
We lived in Louisiana for a few years on assignment. It's a beautiful place with the best food in the world. The people are very friendly and courteous. LSU has a beautiful campus, New Orleans is absolutely fabulous, and the small towns are charming. If you have never been to Louisiana, you shouldn't comment on it. We are going to retire there some day. At long last, Louisiana has a terrific Govenor with wonderful ideas for the state. When they get rid of the dumb as a rock Mayor of New Orleans, it will rebound much faster. We have lived all over the United States and the Southern States are much more beautiful and enjoyable. People who put down the South must be painfully ignorant.
I LOVE the photo of Britney...it really cracks me up. Did she really make that face or was it photoshopped?
To Marianne Chitter Chatter:
The correct spellings are "Louisiana", "prehistoric", and "monkeys". It makes me laugh when a self-absorbed, small-minded, ugly-hearted phony thinks she's sooo cool by looking down her snotty little nose at others and ends up making a pathetic fool out of herself.
I mean that in the kindest way possibile, of course.
What an amateurish job on that photo. I'm not just talking about the lack of technical skills in the image manipulation department, but also, about the total absence of creativity and the juvenile level of imagination that went into the composition itself.
So let's see, we have a bayou, something that looks vaguely like a tractor, a disembodied arm holding a football, and Britney herself with a stupid looking hat that's too small for the image of her head.
It looks like something a second grader would come up with the first time mommy shows him or her how to play with Photoshop.
And the irony is that this makes Harvey and the TMZ staff look like a bunch of ignorant, uncivilized throwbacks, which is what they are (unsuccessfully) trying to imply about the people in Kentwood.
FIBiker is very smart and enjoys riling you guys up.
I enjoy his comments, not that I agree with all.
I love the picture by the way, although she doesn't quite look the same without the extensions.
Her expression says it all.
Bayou baby.
Please God. don't let that wreck of a mother give any mothering advice to her
immature little sister. If only the whole clan would get their tubes tied.

Well, it looks to me that FIBiker is just someone who is in love with what he (presuming that we're actually talking about a male here; in the world of anonymous posting, who knows) believes to be his own assumed wittiness.
Compared to the TMZ staff members who write these stories and a lot of the illiterate products of the American educational system who post here, FIBiker looks like a sublime genius, but so does Britney.
To all of you who feel that you have such a fabulous life that you can actually put down an entire state much less an entire region (the south) I would love to know what makes you special. What really gets me is the person who visited and said that the people were third world, what are you? I am from Washington parish, only a few towns over from Kentwood and I can tell you that the people there and in the south are the most genuine, good hearted people. I now live in D.C. I am educated and have a high powered government job and yes I was educated in Louisiana. I am willing to bet that those people who are making these self-absorbed comments have no life and really nothing better to do then fantasize about their lives being better. As another person stated, you love our food, Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest. People come from all over the world to visit. What claim to fame does your town have? How can you as an American put down a state in your own country? That sounds more like communism to me. As for TMZ, you have lost me as a faithful viewer. I would rather watch a small or visit a site that cares about ALL their viewers. How many screw ups are living in Los Angeles? I have personally sent out emails regarding TMZâs treatment of its southern fans and believe me you have lost many, many viewers. TMZ needs to apologize. As well I know there will be ridiculous comments to this. Lets do this, if you make a negative comment about any part of the South, tell why you feel you are superior to all of us. What makes you and your town special? Also to the TMZ staffer who posted that, what kind of fabulous life do you have? I am sure we will get no comment to that. TMZ basically has now put themselves in the ranks of those terrible news sites that do not provide real journalism but only fabricated information. Should we do a poll of how many people left their home towns to seek fame in LA and screwed their lives up? Oh..by the way GEAUX TIGERS
I mean that in the kindest way possibile, of course.

You misspelled "possible". But I still agree with you about Marianne.
Thanks A. Friend. I am sure someone will post that the mistake is made because of where I am from. I just can't believe that people would agree with TMZ. As well be so harsh with their comments. I really would love to know from each of those people what makes them so much better but we will never get comments to that.
Oh for pete's sake, it's just a baby shower, not a funeral, anyway who really cares, leave her alone!

If we're lucky, it will be a funeral for the dozens of paps who will be massacred.
Well, we can at least dream ...
Posted at 8:22PM on May 2nd 2008 by L.A. is safe for the weekend! Bye brit
Pocahontas was born, raised and currently lives in New York. I love New York but I have traveled across our Country more than once. I've been to the South and I've been to the North. I haven't visited every state (yet) but I am drawn to the South. It is beautiful and genuine. The people are warmhearted and wonderful. I've been to California too many times than I care to remember. Although there are some beautiful cities on the west coast (San Diego being my favorite), the people (?) are plastic and fake. They are distant and foreign. They would just as soon knock you over than to even acknowledge your presence. As a whole, New Yorkers may not be as friendly as Southerners but New Yorkers are lightyears better than Californians. So, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH ⦠if you feel that I donât have a sense of humor, it isnât because Iâm from the South â it is because Iâve spent time there and know what Iâm talking about (unlike others ⦠hint, hint).
Britney Spears might miss a lot more 'X Factor' auditions ... because she can! Simon Cowell gave Brit damn near free reign in order to sign the pop star to that $15 million deal -- but is it backfiring? We'll tell you what peeps on the set are saying.Plus, Chris Jericho's…
