10. I was also there and never at any time did I see anyone laugh over this. The child has cochlear implants and is also going blind. Just wasnt that funny. He has a beautiful wife and family. Bad bad taste TMZ.

14. We are also a family that was at the Derby today and that saw this on reply. We are not and should never be offended by people innocently using incorrect terminology. The general public does not know he difference between these implants and our family can and does understand and appreciate this. We are not offended but rather embrace te opportunity to clarify the diffence between implants. So please, do not juge or stand on a soap box, forgive innocent mistakes, we have so much more to direct our anger at.

15. Hader, noone should really know better.....relax it is an innocent mistake and your time being mad/upset should be focused on something else. We in this community with children that they are referring to are not upset rather look at it as a mistake with sn opportunity to gey correct terminology so please stop beraiding the announcer.
