16. TMZ's report from the shower is totally made up. Was your source the moron in the helicoptor with a Walmart pair of binoculars? There wasn't a single person there that would have talked to the press.

What would Britney need to appologize for? Mental illness isn't something you get because your from a small town in Lousiana or because some flunky who can't write copy slept their way into a lame job for AOL. Screw you people. How ignorant do you have to be to spew that much hate on someone you don't know? I find the idea that she needs to apologize to anyone repulsive and insulting. Her parents, friends and family owe her an apology.

Tired and Ready for a nap, just because you heard a RUMOR from someone who has probably never even seen Jamie Lynn, doesn't mean you should believe it and judge her for it, since chances are, it isn't true. Since when it is wrong to have a baby shower for someone who can afford to buy her own stuff? Being able to afford it has nothing to do with it. The majority of people who are given baby showers could afford to buy things for their babies on their own. People like you need to quit judging her and putting her down. So she made a mistake. That doesn't mean she should be burned at the stake. If you'll look around, there are lots of teenage pregnancies. At least she is doing the right thing by keeping the baby and having her family around for support. She is trying to bring her baby into the world outside of the limelight, but when she has people stalking her all the time and flying over her house in a helicopter, it's kinda hard I'm sure.

I had been told by a friend who works at Disney that the father is a much older producer from Jamie Lynn's TV show and that this local guy is a 'well paid cover up' to keep the biological father from going to jail. Apparently, Jamie Lynn was quite 'popular' when she was left on her own in Hollywood to do her show. I can't believe a family would throw a shower for an unmarried teen who has enough money to buy her own stuff. It's the height of poor taste .. but then look at the family we're talking about. They are a train wreck.

29. I too get so tired of seeing Jamie Lynn being trashed in the tabs. No, it isn't ok for her to have gotten pregnant at 16, but I'd bet BIG bucks that there have been other 16 year old starlets to get pregnant and have abortions and the public be none the wiser. I say congratulations to her for taking responsibility of her situation. She's not trying to get publicity and attention. She just wants to raise her baby in peace, and no one is letting her. Maybe she should hire Uma's lawyer for all the paps that are stalking her. Now that would be news I'd like to read!

30. Lara I completely agree with you.. On the other hand 800 Pound Gorilla, that is so un-called for. Do you know how many 14-16 yr olds are having sex already before Jamie Lynn was pregnant. If you have any daughters you better be careful...lol... Jaime Lynn made a mistake and is paying the consequence of un-safe sex, she spread her legs and now she's dealing with it. If anything I'm proud that she's handling herself WAY better than big sis.

I had my son when I was a teenager and unwed, doesn't mean i'm not with the father. I'm still with the father and about to give birth to baby #2 from the same man, STILL UNWED. Just because you're not married doesn't mean that the same love, support and commitment isn't there, in fact the way divorce rates are going, being unwed is actually keeping people more stress free and lasting in longer relationships. Aren't there many hollywood relationships, with many kids, that never ended up in the alter.

AND if you wanna talk about giving baby showers, then talk about J-Lo, Jessica Alba, Nicole Richie. How did they dare have a baby shower!?! PLEASE...it's not about wether or not you could afford to buy the baby its things its a celebration.
