Celebrity Justice
Britney Will Sing "Twinkle, Twinkle" to the Kids

Britney SpearsTMZ has more details on what Britney Spears got in court today.

As we first reported, Brit will get three days of supervised visitation per week. Sources tell us within a month she will also have overnight visitation with her kids.

We're told Commish Scott Gordon was extremely impressed with Brit's progress today. It was a different story a few months back when she completely pissed him off. The Commish was somewhat blown away by her.

The goal, we're told, is to ramp it up over the next few months so that Brit gets 50/50 custody, right back where she started from.

Stay tuned.

32. If you think about this, NOTHING has really changed! The court just gave the same thing that Kfed has already been allowing! And she still needs to be supervised the entire time that she is with them!

33. Did the commish get word of the gay activity going on at GayFed's house or something?
Not a very good thing to be doing in front of those kids.

34. Good for Britney and her sons!!!! She does look adorable. I am glad her parents are helping her and she is helping herself. She is a musical genious, lots of highly talented people (this does require intellect), need help with life skills. Albert Einstein could not find his way home and would frequently get lost, on foot no less. He had trouble taking care of himself, too. What about Beethoven, he was a mess and VanGough was handicapped with illness, still they are legendary treasures to the World. Love you Britney!

37. Good Job Brit.............you can do it!! He should be blown away --- all that went on was not her doing. She had leaches after her from her "supposed" Manager to K-Fed, to K-Fed money hungry lawyer not to mention lawyers who claim she hired them. It's so sad whe people are just out to get your money. What happend to just caring about a person for who they are. I do believe in the common good and I want to believe that the common good is in her and she will bounce back. She will be back on the charts in no time just right now it's the least of her worries. She has plenty to take care of herself and her children and she is and will make the right choices for her, her boys and her family. Good job Britney the world is yours to do as you wish ~

39. Hey, do any of you know anything about the possibility that a "730 Psychological Evaluation" is in the offing for Britney?

I looked this up today, and apparently, it's one of the steps that must be performed in order for a permanent conservatorship to be put into place, as opposed to the temporary conservatorship that is in effect at the moment.

There is talk that Britney's mental illness is severe enough that a permanent conservatorship is being explored as a possibility for her after the temporary one expires at the end of July. The results of a 730 Psychological Evaluation are used for determining the severity of a person's mental illness and therefore their eligibility for being placed under a permanent conservatorship.

Of course, there is talk about lots of things in the gossip press, and this is why I'm asking if anyone here has something more substantive that might indicate that Britney really is ill enough for her conservatorship to be made permanent.

The reason I'm even thinking about this is because one or two reporters asked about a "730" at the Britney news conference today. No answer was given, and this prompted me to do a search for that term. That's where I came across some the discussion about the possibility of Britney having to undergo a "730".

41. Gorilla I have not always thought your comments were 100% on the mark but the comment about the live feed was dead on. What kind of person would sit and watch a live feed video of a person going to court?? The person that would do that has nothing worthwhile left to do in their life. Might as well jump off a tall bridge!!!!!

42. Get her away from those sleaze bag "boyfriends" and things turn around. Gee, I wonder what could have caused her problems before.

44. I think it's a good thing the court is recognizing her improvements, after all she is doing so much better than a few months prior.those boys need her, they're so young having thier mother taken away for too long would be traumatizing(although they already have been traumatized).

45. 39. TMZ - Don't end a sentence with a preposition.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

As Winston Churchill allegedly said when being corrected for ending a sentence with a preposition, “This is the sort of English up with which I will not put.” (some people say that he actually used "bloody nonsense" in place of the word "English", but either way, he made his point)

In other words, that "don't end a sentence with a preposition" admonishment is less of a valid rule of English usage than you might think. There are plenty of cases where ending a sentence with a preposition is considered to be more correct than the alternative.
