Al Sharpton was arrested for civil disobedience this afternoon along with a slew of others in New York.
Sharpton was part of a group of hundreds who were protesting the acquittal of three New York City police detectives who fatally shot Sean Bell 50 times in 2006.
Sharpton most likely will receive a citation and then be released.

57. Mslady - First of all, it's death row not death road. Secondly, it's a sad day in this country when people vote for someone based solely on him being partially black. Educate yourself and then vote. Don't vote merely because of skin color - that is ignorant. 60. Post 911 city and he's worried about shutting the city down again. Why didn't he protest the fact that Renato Scantlebury was killed on the streets of Bushwick by another kid.
