Sure, I agree that the three cops got away with Murder (Justified, don't you know) but this creep and his side kick are race hustlers and need to be stopped. 129. This protest was not about the color of the police officers or the victims. And anyone who didn't know the races of either is becasue you get your news from sites like this that do not give all of the facts. The protest was about the fact that these cops no matter what color they were, were not held accountable for their actions. Everytime the police abuse their power does not mean it is always against a black person. They abuse their power with people of all races. For some odd reason even if the story is not a racial issue, the posters on this site seem to make it just that. I am so glad that the younger generation is not sharing the views of some of you older set in your ways ignorant generation. That is why we will see Obama in office in 2009. 133. Here's my problem.

1, For some reason sharpton IS making this about race even tho 2 of the three cops were black. So where's the race issue? Suddenly black cops aren't black if they shoot a black man?

2. The actually are following police protocol. Overkill, maybe... but cops are taught that if they have to shoot to save their life, they shoot to kill.

3. I believe the cops when they say the guy was acting like he had a gun. If you are a hard working man or woman with a spouse and kids at home... do you want to risk that maybe he's trash talking?

4. The guy tried to run the cops down not once.... but TWICE... and the cop he was trying to run down was the plain clothes black cop, so again, I can't see how this is about race in Sharpton's mind.

5. This guy was no saint. I mean.. wow. Guy was getting married. Lets give him a pass on any and all criminal activity.

and for those who keep saying if his were a black cop who shot a white guy the cop would have been thrown away for life... how do you get that?

Look at the group of black kids who ganged on and almost KILLED one white kid who didn't have a chance to fight back or defend themselves. Suddenly the black kids were the victims and got off scotfree. (One of whom went on to be arrested again for violence.)

I GUARANTEE you if it were a group of white kids, they'd have been convicted, and Sharpton who cried foul when the black kids were tried as adults... would have demanded the most serious adult punishment for the white boys. THAT'S how society works today.

Now, am I saying racsim doesn't exist and all cops are good? HELL NO! Look at that beating that happened recently. Or the racist comments by Rev. Wright against whites

There's racism on all sides. But people like Sharpton have to start picking their fights, and fighting against TRUE racsim whether its against Blacks, whites, hispanics, asians or whatever... Or he'll make REAL racism claims look bad. Remember the story of the boy who cried wolf? (And boy is not a racist term, thats the actual name of the story.) Cry wolf too many times, and pretty soon people will stop believing you.

135. I also know some of the officers were black. Al Sharpton is no good no matter what. He is trouble all over. He stirs hate. Look at these posts and what he causes . I wish everyone could get along but go to the black race they dont want to. Al Sharpton is one of them who will not stop spreading hate.
