Dina Lohan Massacres Mother's Day

And now hell has officially frozen over -- Dina Lohan was celebrated last night as an outstanding mom of the year at a Long Island charity event.

Her ex-husband Michael told us that she was supposed to be at a court-ordered family therapy session just blocks away at the same time, but she chose to attend what looked more like a bachelorette party than an event celebrating celeb moms organized by a group called Mingling Moms.

Of course, the same group also gave Jennifer Lopez an award for being a great mom, and she's only been a mom for three months.

61. It’s things like this that undercuts the credibility of the award and overshadows its intended purpose. Hopefully event organizers will learn from this widely panned incident and in the future, honor those who are truly deserving rather than those whose only qualification seems to be their celebrity or notoriety. Honestly, selecting “top mom” honorees on the sole basis that the mom is, or is the mother of, a celebrity is both contrived and inane.

62. This makes me sincerely question the legitimacy of the organization. I honestly think this needs to be investigated. There is something fishy about a "charity" organization choosing Dina Lohan as an outstanding mother. People should be very leary about donating to this particular group.

64. Jeeeez. Give me a break - Lohan getting the award is a slap in the face to mothers everywhere and Jennifer Lopez getting it is a joke - a huge one. check her again in a couple of yers, however with lots of money and nannies, etc. motherhood is made easier!!!

But, again.... Lohan!! Poster mother for who should NOT have kids!
