227. I think a lot of these comments are extremely harsh! He has an amazing voice, charming personality and deserves to win as much as any of the other contestants. I don;t think this competition is rigged at all because it seems every week the judges all pick one contestant to favour, but its not usually the same week after week. David;s worked very hard and given some amazing performances and I think he can win the competition on his own without any help or anything being rigged!

228. I have always wondered if AI was fixed, and I'm just not sure. Syesha and David Cook both have star quality, I cringe at the thought of David A. winning and appearing on Oprah or Letterman, it's almost uncomfortable to imagine it.

229. I am a older person and I do not care for David Archuleta. I agree, he sounds the same over and over, no personality, cannot talk, just giggles. My vote is for David Cook, even though I am not a rock fan. He has the right qualities to be an American Idol. Syesha is very good for Broadway.

232. It has always been very clear, that Simon can affect the vote with certain comments. Archuletta has no "personal" appeal, as a singer. His best attempts to feighn emotion come across as nothing short of "painful." Cook is the class of the show, this year --- by far. Archuletta isn't even close. I have great respect for Simon's ability toassess singing voices, but he is quite unfair when it comes to issues of "favoritism." Should Archuletta win, it will only affirm my thoughts that the show is a popularity contest and not a singing contest. I have grown very weary of the favoritism and "ignorant comments on dress and "choice of songs (not to mention Paula's innane comments). After this "rigged" selection year, I am done with the show. Oh, and Amy was/is better than Archuletta.

234. obviously, ppl who wrote on this fansite are for david cook. it is amazing how negative comment can sway ppl's mind.
Music is mystery and subjective. some ppl finds DavidA's music boring and yet some loved it so much. They can't get enough of it. This fixed theory does not fly with me. Why would they bother letting them sing their heart out. does anyone even know what goes on behind the scene? all the competitors are friends and it is YOU, the public who wanted to make an issue
because it is boring if there is no controversy. and who do you pick but DavidA. LEAVE THE KID ALONE. If you do not appreciate his music. Do not listen.

236. The boy is just too emotional to handle all the stress that comes with this win. He is not ready for it. I also think his father has pushed, and pushed him and that is why this kid is so stressed out. His father is over bearing...over bearing fathers produce weak shy, intimidated children.

I think David Cook deserves this............he is a true professional, a true winner.

238. David Archuleta is Amazing!!! He connects with the home audience, judges, and stage audience. AND most importantly he is an incredible singer. This season they talk a lot about being unique. Who can be compared to David Archuleta? I can't think of many people. Think about it...

239. In the beginning, David was impressive. But now every song sounds the same. Same type of song, same inflections, etc... I did think his surprised 'oh thank you so much' was cute at first (like he just couldn't believe the judges liked his performance) but now it is just annoying.

It should be OBVIOUS to ALL, David Cook is the best of the 3 left. He can perform, arrange music, sing and play an instrument.
