One Day at a Time

The 48-year-old former child star resurfaced at a Mother's Day event in L.A. on Tuesday, looking rosy.

Mackenzie is the daughter of Mamas and the Papas singer John Phillips and the half-sister of Chynna and Bijou Phillips.

In 1980, Mackenzie was fired from "One Day at a Time" and went to rehab. She returned to the series a year later. In 1983, one of the show's producers asked Phillips to take a drug test, but she refused and once again left the series. Mackenzie has been clean and sober since 1992.

46. McKenzie Phillips was always known for being a tad bit 'less than attractive' even dating back to One Day At A Time, but seriously folks she looks a lot less scary now than she did back then. With her history of drugs and alcohol I commend her for making a come back and even being alive...so give the gal a break. At least she's not a statistic and you got to hand it to her.

47. Her father showed her how to shoot up when she was 18, and not long after she was aggressively seduced by Mick Jagger, visiting in the Phillips home, who told her, "I've been waiting to do this since you were ten years old."
