Star Jones and Barbara Walters are staging their own version of "The Hills" -- just 50 years later!

Star Jones unleashed a verbal ass-whooping on Barbara Walters today, telling Us Weekly, "It is a sad day when an icon like Barbara Walters, in the sunset of her life, is reduced to publicly branding herself as an adulterer, humiliating an innocent family with accounts of her illicit affair and speaking negatively against me all for the sake of selling a book ... It speaks to her true character."

Star is referring to the revelation Walters made that she had an affair with then-married Senator Edward Brooke during the 1970s -- and the fact that Walters claims in her new book Jones forced her to lie on "The View" about Jones' gastric bypass surgery.

For her part, Walters' rep refused to comment back, saying, "I will not dignify this with a comment. Barbara's written words say it all!"

245. Star should sue Barbara for telling in her book, of Star's medical procedure, claiming that she was told to lie. She merely had to follow Hippea laws and keep her mouth shut, but obvioulsy, Barbara has a problem doing that, destroying others lives, seems to be her new flavor. Star Sue her!!!!!

249. Come on, We All knew months ago How Star actually lost the weight. It already came out in public. So Barbara wrote in her biography the difficulites it created and how Star wanted everyone on the Set to lie for her.

251. I agree with Star Jones, Barbara could have kept that info to herself. I am not a fan of Star's anymore but she is right. Barbara Walters should not have written about her affair with married man. She has already been proven to be a llier and not this. Barbara your image is decreasing daily. Star on the other hand is not that great of a person either but she doeshave some morals. She married and whether her husband is gay or not is not an issue here. She loved him and that was enough for her. I don't think anyones sexual preference should be held against them,

252. Star Jones Blew this out of proportion and misled everyone.
Barbara Walters got approval to print this from the Senator and his family prior to publication. The humilitation that Star is talking about does not exist in this situation for the family. Star also has the Audacity to slam Barbara publicly about her weight loss, because her co workers were not comfortable lying for her. People aren't blind. The saw the weight loss, and they saw the aggressive greediness Star went after getting Freebies for her wedding. Barbara, at least is not a liar in regards to these situations.,

Lastly, when was the last time Star Jones actually practiced Law????? I remember her from plugging Physchic Hotline prior to the view. So Give me a break, Ms. I'm a lawyer - yeah right. You're a cheap shill.
