TMZ has obtained a bizarre, backwoods 911 call made on April 10 after Vanilla Ice allegedly kicked and hit his wife Laura.

You gotta hear this call -- halfway through, Laura starts talking to the dispatch operator like he's a couple's counselor! Too funny.

As we first reported, Laura withdrew her complaint against the former "rapper" and the case was thrown out.

BTW the dispatch is muted but says white,black or hispanic (so don't get into a racial panic!) 42. Even if he DID say 'white, black, or hispanic" those are not the only racial groups in America. Obviously he can't go down the whole list and say "Is he white, black, hispanic, native american, asian", it would take too long. If he needs to know the person's ethnicity why not ask "What's his ethnicity?" Maybe the 911 procedures need to be updated.
