Hulk's Son Will Cop a Plea

Nick HoganLaw enforcement sources tell TMZ Nick Hogan will cop to a criminal charge in court tomorrow.

We're told Hogan will not fight the charge of felony reckless driving involving serious bodily injury. He will plead either guilty or no contest. Sources say no deal has been struck with prosecutors. Hogan will enter an "open plea," meaning the judge will have complete leeway in his sentencing and the victim and his family will have an opportunity to testify at a sentencing hearing on how the crime has affected their lives. The maximum penalty is five years in prison.

On August 26, 2007, Nick was driving a suped-up Toyota with passenger John Graziano when he crashed, severely injuring John.

We're told Hulk and the rest of Nick's family will be in Pinellas County court (Florida) tomorrow.

16. Nick "The Prick" Hogan will get away with only probation. He's the son of a very rich celebrity and as we all know celebrities can get away with anything. Just ask Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, O.J. Simpson, Robert Blake, and Phil Spector. Personally, I'd hang the little twerp along with the rest of that dysfuctional family.

18. Unbelievable! My boyfriend was just sentenced to 12 years in prison for drugs. This little bastard Nick was drinking and then decideds to try and be a bad ass and drag races, crashes and puts his best friend in a vegetative state, and all he may get is 5 years?! Seems to me my boyfriend should have gotten 5 years and the little bastard Nick should be getting 12 years or longer in prison.

19. This is a sad situation. The kid did something stupid like all kids do, but his stupid act had a tragic ending. Most kids get away with stuff with the worst consequence being a grounding. The Hogans are crappy parents. They totally indulged and encouraged both their kids to do whatever they wanted. I remember an episode where Hulk went to a track and raced a car so Nick would think he was cool. Why would Nick think driving fast and irresponsibly was a bad thing when his parents didn't seem to think so?

21.

The sentencing should prove interesting....

I'm assuming he decided not to go to trial for fear that his defense of his actions would inflame not only the jury, but the judge.

We'll see.

Deal done whit john family. surely they will receive millions from the hulkster in return for no time for the son. What a sad state of affairs we live in. Agree with the poster, if it was a regular joe, jail time and see ya.........
