Hulk's Son Will Cop a Plea

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Nick Hogan will cop to a criminal charge in court tomorrow.

We're told Hogan will not fight the charge of felony reckless driving involving serious bodily injury. He will plead either guilty or no contest. Sources say no deal has been struck with prosecutors. Hogan will enter an "open plea," meaning the judge will have complete leeway in his sentencing and the victim and his family will have an opportunity to testify at a sentencing hearing on how the crime has affected their lives. The maximum penalty is five years in prison.

On August 26, 2007, Nick was driving a suped-up Toyota with passenger John Graziano when he crashed, severely injuring John.

We're told Hulk and the rest of Nick's family will be in Pinellas County court (Florida) tomorrow.

62. It also appears that most of the haters missed the part where the post read that nick is not fighting the charge. He is taking responsibility, which he didn't have to do. If john were my son yes, i would initially be very angry. however, i like to think that after the initial shock wore of i would be able to look at the whole picture and see that there was negligence on both the driver AND the passenger. As long a nick takes responsibilty, which he is obviously doing, then the haters are nothing nore than that. Haters. Get a life haters and pray this never happens to you or yours.

Obviously this person is a prepubesent kid who has no idea how the adult world works... Let me dumb it down for her...

OK Nick was a bad boy, he did a bad thing, now he will be punished by the law of this land for it. Now this does not mean we should hate Nick, or anyone else for that matter? No. Hate is awful thing that only turns you into a monster like the one you "think" Nick is.

Now I am not saying this because I like him or his parents nor do I hate him or his parents, it's just as you grow up you will learn that sometimes people makes bad mistakes, and no matter who they are we must judge them fairly and punish them in ways to fit what they have done, and the things in the past they have done. Oh and little girl, don't ever accuse anyone of anything unless you can prove it without any question!

When you go into big girl school they will teach you all about this, I just hope you pay attention! Because when you do grow up somebodies life may depend on you bieng smart enough to know not to hate.

65. I would hope that the judge takes this opportunity to show that there are consequences of street racing; people get hurt and people go to jail. Here in California there have been quite a few innocent people killed by street racing. Mothers and their children. It's absolutely maddening and just makes you sick. And as seen in Nick's case.... often there is no remorse! They just don't get it! They're numb to the real life consequences!

The judge will be a hero only if he throws the book at Nick. Because if he doesn't, it will give a message to street racers that it's not that big a deal. A slap on the wrist and you're back home again.

74. Max of only FIVE years for essentially taking the life his passenger is just not enough. When a person acts irresponsibly and without regard for the life of another, there should be much greater penalties. Its really sickening.

I just hope he gets maxed out and has to serve a few years behind bars. I dont have a lot of faith in the justice system but I can hope.....

75. In my jurisdiction, as a former prosecutor, we would never take a "no contest" plea. You are guilty or you are not. If you dont want to plead "guilty", then lets go to trial. No contest pleas, you can prove your case, but I am not admitting guilt - are bogus. Guilty or a trial. Let him answer the question, "Are you pleading guilty, because you are guilty?".
This softie, let celebrities plead no contest to charges they are obviously guilty of, should not be allowed. And we never ever allowed it.
