Hulk's Son Will Cop a Plea

Nick HoganLaw enforcement sources tell TMZ Nick Hogan will cop to a criminal charge in court tomorrow.

We're told Hogan will not fight the charge of felony reckless driving involving serious bodily injury. He will plead either guilty or no contest. Sources say no deal has been struck with prosecutors. Hogan will enter an "open plea," meaning the judge will have complete leeway in his sentencing and the victim and his family will have an opportunity to testify at a sentencing hearing on how the crime has affected their lives. The maximum penalty is five years in prison.

On August 26, 2007, Nick was driving a suped-up Toyota with passenger John Graziano when he crashed, severely injuring John.

We're told Hulk and the rest of Nick's family will be in Pinellas County court (Florida) tomorrow.

91. I don't think that Nick and his family should take all of the blame for this. Where is the accountability of John for his choice to participate in this dangerous activity? Should John's parents not consider their own son's poor choice to participate when asking the Hogan family to pay for their son's long-term care? John is equally responsible for participating in the "race". Unfortunately, he was permanently injured. But that is the risk he took when he sat down in the passenger seat and, most likely joyfully, agreed to participate in the race.

I hope the court and judge comes to the reasonable conclusion that Nick and John co-equally participated in the race. Would John's family still agree that it is the sole fault of the driver if John were the one driving and Nick the passenger needing long-term care?
Just something to think about.

92. I feel sorry for Nick. This is a truly tragic ACCIDENT.....I am sure that his friend John was well aware of his driving habits...I hate to say it but why get in a car with someone who is known to drive fast, this whole thing makes me sick

93. Linda??? Feel sorry for Nick?? A tragic ACCIDENT????

A tragic accident would be if he were driving down a country road and a dear ran out in front of him - but drag racing on a public street while other people lives were at stake? Not to mention alcohol involved? PULEEZE!!!!!

This was reckless - not an ACCIDENT!!!!

94. Hopefully Nick will be the only celebuspawn "MALE" that is only known for having JUNK IN HIS TRUNK!

95. In prison Nick will enter an "open plea" meaning his legs will be open and his plea will be that they finish quickly.

96. if the other kid got into the car and he knew Nik was drinking then hes the stupid one. he should have also worn his seat belt but i bet they were both screaming faster ..faster !! the one who was in Iraq is use to excitement and that was it for him. i feel horrible for him .

i also feel bad for Nik. can u imagine what hes going thru behind closed doors?? something that terrible can drive anyone insane. Nik is probably going crazy. that was his friend.
do u all think Nik is having a party right now?? i think the kid is totally messed up right now.
also the one who bought the alcohol should be in jail ! and i guess hulk bought it.
and will people stop saying DROP THE SOAP its getting kind of old , just like when people on here say FIRST!
the Hogan family is destroyed right now and i bet Hulk isn't happy. hes probably giving nik HELL .

SO WHAT IM SAYING IS THAT NIK DOES FEEL BAD FOR HIS FRIEND! IMAGINE BEING IN HIS SPOT RIGHT NOW??

97. stop blaming the parents ! its so easy these days to say ...well the way i was raised made me do it.
it gives these kids an easy way out. its common sense not to speed and im sure we all have done it on here but we just got lucky. Nik and his friend didnt.
blame the parents NOT.
let these kids pay for what they did instead of blaming the parents !

98. standby.....are you high???

No, i hardly think nick is partying right now since he has to be in court within hours now. BWAHAAHAAHAA

Do I think Nick lives this every day? HELL NO!!! He was still racing till his sponsers dropped him. Life went on for him.

He couldn't even handle HIGH SCHOOL for God's sake! Dropped out!!! What can we expect out of this man wanna-be?

Maybe, just maybe jail will: A) get him a GED, B) get him to realize that life is precious, and C) How to not drop the soap!!!

99. The facts of all this has pretty much all been disclosed by the media - However, I live in the neighborhood and the "Hogans" are really nice people. Not Hollywood types... Hulk pumps his gas at the Hess like anyone else, and he is always friendly and happy to sign an autograph for some kid that asks. I've seen Hulk / his family out at least 300X over the years. This accident was very unfortunate, but it could of happened to any 17 year old that has ever got a little crazy driving. Lets be real.... most all of us did something crazy in our teenage years. I raced on the very same street this accident occurred in my youth. I would also add I have witnessed Nick driving responsibly and with courtesy in the neighborhood far more then the few times he chirped up the tires. I live round the corner and down the street. Both Nick and Brooke are good kids - errr young adults. In my view Terry & Linda did a good job of raising them. But obviously they will be paying the $$$$$ for their sons error - and to me that isn't exactly fair either. I'm sure it added to the motivation for Linda to file for divorce, so this whole thing has broken up the whole family. Don't think for a minute that the Hulkster never put his son Nick in line, but at 17 did we ALWAYS listen to our parents? Please.... reading some of the comments here you people want a lynch mob. It is not like Nick had forced his friend in the car and made him race with him. He was a willing participant in the passenger seat ( NOT WEARING HIS SEAT BELT) This in my view is why Nick walked away with a broken arm and some scratches - while John is comatose most likely for life. Think of the mental punishment Nick has been through knowing what his actions caused to his friend. I don't say he should get off scott free. It is the drivers responsibility for their passengers - but to lock the kid up for years is not the answer here folks. Hopefully the Judge will see this tragedy for what it is : an accident - not criminal intent or malice. 17 year old stupidity to be accurate. I feel most for Brooke - she is completely innocent in all of this - plus her parents divorce etc.... Just when she was really trying to launch her career as a music entertainer. I have heard her play piano and sing - she is very talented.

102. They should make a reality show on Nick going to jail... I would love to see him get shanked or A**-raped by some huge black guy... But he prolly won't cuz hes a celeb-spawn ... sorta

103. I hope they put him in jail. I am sure he will not get much but I hope they stuff his little punk @ss in a cell and leave him there for a good long time. I mean if he was smart he would want to go to jail it would be the ultimate cage match.. Little jerk.

104. I dont think this kid should get any pecial treatment just because his dad is famous....well....WAS famous!. What he did was serious and he could have killed someone....pffft let the kid do the time....

105.

I find it truly offensive that some posters seem to actually believe (and seem to relish) that Nick Hogan should be sexually molested if he goes to jail. That's sick and unjustified. He should be punished for his actions, but that does not mean that sexual torture should be part of the punishment. He is not a child molester. He is not a sexual sadist.

Why would anyone express such glee in hoping that Nick Hogan (or anyone not even accused of a sexual crime) should be sexually violated in such a way?

That goes beyond disturbing.
