"Iron Man" Becomes Karate Kid

Former drug addict-turned-"Iron Man" Robert Downey Jr. is riding a new high these days -- and has the kicks to prove it.

The 43-year-old box office superhero (left) channeled his inner Ralph Macchio while practicing martial arts with an instructor in his L.A. driveway on Wednesday.

Is Mr. Miyagi in the Avenger Initiative, too?!

32. The flick was really entertaining and I hope there will be a sequel. So glad to see RDJ happy, healthy (looking so very sexy!) and back on the big screen. Congrats to him and his family.

34. OK. OK, OK... that's enough. When looking at this picture it reminds me of a song from the 70's "Everyone was Kung Fu Fighting." Great Actor, medium in looks.. but do we really need to see this picture? It's like his legs are fatter than his body. EWW... Is he on drugs AGAIN?

35. If he where binding over I would believe he was someones bitch. Have you seen his wife? I would rather be a beefcakes bitch than be with her. She is done right ugly! And now he is talking about breeding with her. YUCK!

36. Robert Downey Jr. is....WOW ...what can you say.!!! I've been rewatching his movies after Ironman (awesome!!) came out and it has made me realize just why he is a great actor. Ironman might have been the most resent but it did not just fall in his lap. He worked for it proving that he deserved it. He is flying high right now and I'm proud that he has recaptured his life, happily married and is heading in the right direction!!!

Love you RDJ, Good Luck.....Goooooo get them baby !!!!

38. You are such a wonderful example, Robert, how one can change... That would be nice if you would go to speak to groups about what you have gone thru (like speaking to high school kids). I say Bravo to you. I hope you win an Academy Award, some where down the line.. You are a wonderful actor....You go!!!
