Britney Spears was a surprise guest at the finale of MTV's "Rock the Cradle" last night -- and we would have gotten a great interview with her about it ... if it weren't for power windows.
She didn't go on the show, she was just there to support her manager, Larry Rudolph, who is one of the judges.

Nice! It's really good to see Britney doing so well and she seems to definitely have her life back on track. She looks so much better and conducts herself in a much more private and quiet manner. No wonder she's working again to good reviews and is getting more and more time with her boys. Keep it up and be happy.

Have seen other pictures of this night out on other sites. In every picture she looks vacant and definitely on medication. It's amazing to me that her 'handlers' want to pass her off as being normal. She isn't. I do not hate Britney nor do I wish her harm. A person with her mental problems cannot take stress of any kind. If stress gets to be too much for them, they either flee from their problems, or they act out in a way that usually has dire consequences for them or others. So things that we do normally, watch our children, go to work, manage a household---these things elude her. For those who think that she's back because she makes a couple TV appearances, they prove nothing. Going to the gym, for instance, is not for her comeback body, it's simply to try and forestall the side effects of her medication. The biggest side effect of her meds, besides rendering someone sterile, is causing a huge weight gain. Going to the gym helps, but also gives her something to do. These tiny TV parts give her an income, and keep her name out there as far as her management is concerned. To rave about her acting in these parts amazes me. She looks breathless, has kind of frantic speech patterns where she spits out her lines 1,2,3 and it always looks like her teeth don't quite fit. This bi-polar thing does not go away, you can't wish that it were so. She will need constant supervision FOREVER. Time will tell, but I don't give any hope to the thought that she'll be any different 20 years from now.

I think there's a lot to be said for "outoftowner"s comments.
Little Brit Brit IS NOT somehow miraculously cured and doing two cameo appearances on a low rated tv show proves absolutely nothing about her progress. She could have given the same performance the day after she shaved her head, or beat uop the car with an umbrella, or had to be taken to the hospital.... you get the point.
I can't believe they're actually going to let her spend overnights with her kids. I hope for their sake there's at least a chaperone watching over those kids 24/7 when they're with her.
Her career is over, and her management really ought to see the writing on the wall, They keep throwing her face out in public in order to keep her name in the press. What she really needs is to just go away for while.. a long while.
