Celebrity Justice
Nick to Eat Like a King -- Chicken a la King!

Nick HoganFor his first meal in jail, Nick Hogan will be getting the same slop Kiefer Sutherland ate when he was locked up.

For din din, Nick will be munching on chicken a la king with turkey gravy, rice, bread, and peas and carrots. The Ivy this ain't!

Since he's the only juvenile in the joint, Nick will be housed at the Inmate Healthcare Facility of the Pinellas County Jail in a single cell. Table for one!

76. If John's family wanted Nick to be sentenced like and adult, then John's family should treat him as such, and sue him, NOT HIS FATHER. My heart goes out to John and his family, but he had no seat belt on. He could have also been encouraging Nick to drive fast. We'll never know. I will probably get blasted for this, but I feel bad for Hulk. His kid made the mistake, and he is the one who is going to pay.

78. Sounds delicious, seriously. To good for him.

79. You cannot sue a seventeen year old, you have to sue the parents. And to all those who seem to think that somehow this is John's fault, you must not drive here in America! Any driver knows that the driver is in charge of the vehicle and is responsible for the passengers actions. So John did not wear a seatbelt, if they had been pulled over, they both could have received a ticket, since John is over 18 and Nick was the driver, Maybe some of you should go back and re-read your drivers manuals. Stupid for John not to wear a seatbelt, but more stupid for Nick to drag race and rather intentional or not, Nick created the situation for the car accident. And even though John did not create this mess, he will be paying a price for this for the rest of his life, by not being able to walk or talk again for the rest of his life.

81. Hey Jade #77 - They have to sue his father because the car was registered and insured under his fathers name - Einstein.

Encouraged? So if someone encouraged you to drive fast on a major highway you would do it?

Jade = exhibit A why one should use a condom.

83. All you people defending Nick and putting blame on John. Can you say Brooke, Linda and Terry. Why don't the 3 of you
admit Nick is guilty . You know you are to blame also. Letting your son drink and drive. Nick goes to the hospital to visit John and spends his time on a skate board disturbing other patients. What a sick family, Nick doenst even have heart felt remorse

84. "74. The parents of the passeneger, while yes i feel terrible for their son, arent taking responsbility. He was just as much to blame as Nick. If the situation was reversed and their son was driving I guarantee they would feel Nick was just as responsbile. I feel they saw a celebrity father and $$$ and it wasnt about justice for their son as much as payday. If I knew for fact every dime they were after was used for their sons care I would feel better about it but I guarantee it was used for materialistic crap as well. I wish the passener well and Nick. Nick lost his best friend and now a portion of his life which he will never forget (serving time) so both are victims and both need prayers."

The above is a perfect example of why it is always a bad idea for morons to homeschool their own children.

85. Wow, you people and your rape jokes. Freaks. There's nothing funny about rape in prison. I'm sure you've never done anything wrong in your lives. The boy is being punished for his stupidity, he does not deserve to be raped. Justice is not about cold-blooded revenge.

86. Eh, well they both learned their lessons didn't they? Don't drink and drive and also, buckle up.

87. He has his license suspened for three years. What do you want to bet he drives himself home when he gets out in a few months?

88. 13. Something has to be wrong with this kid; he showed no emotion at all in court. His face was just like this mugshot, sort of bored and expressionless. A flat affect, as they say. The lights are on, but no one's home...

HELLO!?!?!?! have you ever sat in a court, preparing to get sentanced???? very people show anyemotion at all in court, first out of fear of the judge, god forbid you show TOO much emotion, and then the judge boots your ass, but more importantly, because your life is in the hands of a complete stranger, who may see BOTH sides of the story, or may not give a f**k about you...in this case I truly feel that Nick is taking the blame for BOTH parties (John and Nick). John is as much to blame as Nick...he's a GROWN MARINE who should have learned that his job as a marine means he must both PROTECT and SERVE...so why didn't he protect himself??? he and his family have no one to blame but JOHN for the fact that he got into Nick's car, chose not to wear a seatbelt, and chose to be a passenger in a car that he knew was racing another car...I do understand that the law blames Nick and his family because it was his car and he was the driver, but the law should also acknowledge the fact that at the time of the accident John was a fully functioning adult member of society, completely capable of making his own decisions.

89. Nick Hogan acted in a reckless, irresponsible manner. And due to his mistake another young man will pay for the rest of his life. Nick Hogan is 17. I know many many many 17 year olds who make stupid choices everyday. He will also pay for this for the rest of his life. Because of his celebrity status he will be reminded of this every single day. He will be taunted, jeered, and put under a microscope forever.
I too saw his face..I saw a young man that I have never met other than to watch him on TV entertaining me..I saw him desperately trying to maintain control of himself. I also saw him not ask for mercy..he threw himself on the mercy of the court and take whatever came his way.
As far as showing no emotion..what would you have him do? Had he stood sobbing people would have had a field day on that as well. We take our celebrities, make them famous and then hate them for their success. They are treated differently from the rest of us. We can make mistakes and not have the world calling for our public hanging..they make mistakes and are never not reminded. Unless you know the individual personally how can you know what is in their heart. I myself have a face that unless smiling looks angry..I have had to tell people that "no..I'm not angry" many times.
The mentality of so many in our society is frightening. The viciousness of some who blog on here is more disturbing than anything that these people have done. I feel horribly sorry for John G's family, girlfriend and all who love him. But I feel equally sorry for Nick Hogan and his family.
Fame comes with a very heavy price. One I am thrilled that I do not have to pay.
