Am I the ONLY one who remembers that Hulk and his wife were ENCOURAGING this kid in a race less than 2 weeks after this accident?? Am I also the only one that knows that if Linda divorces Hulk she gets HALF of everything and this divorce is staged?? DUH if Linda gets helf, that's money John's parents can't get in the civil suit. Yes, the suit says PARENTS, but being the husband, he is the truly responsible in the suit...ask any attorney. Hulk will pay and not long later we'll hear of a reconcilliation...mark my words!
BTW - Those saying John was at fault, baloney! Yes, he got in the car, yes, he didn't wear his seatbelt. Nick broke the rules of the road. The ONLY thing John is remotely guilty of is the fact that just perhaps his injuries would have been a lot less seriously had he made the CORRECT choice and wore his seat belt. That does not make him as being any fault at all as far as the accident.

92. Annette # 86 ---- The absolute BEST post on this board and the most sensible and sensitive. At this time BOTH families need our prayers. I am sad to say though, I stand by what I said about this divorce being staged to get out of paying more money since Linda gets half first. They are too close a family and that has been blatently obvious regardless of the fact that we don't know what happens "behind closed doors"..as obviously both parents cheered Nick on in that race less than 2 weeks after the accident. IMO, that was a terrible parenting move, but under duress, who knows what they were thinking? I'll give them that, that it was throughless because of the stress they were all under. My prayers remain with ALL involved. Those cracking jokes about this - remember Karma. Never think it won't catch up with you, or no, that can't happen to me. I've been there. Annette, God bless you and yours as well. It's VERY obvious that you are a GOOD person with a loving heart.

93. Say what you want, he sucked it up like a man and faced the music. Thats more then any of the TMZ puttz's would ever do. And the 8th poster is correct. Nick is to blame for the accident but you can bet John was right there egging him on and not wearing a seat belt while racing is just insane. Harvey would have been crying like a baby begging for a light sentence..

This below is another excellent post.... again, don't think you can't do something yourselves and end up in prison. I'm sure that Nick never thought it'd happen to him either... then you won't think you are so funny when you think back to what you said here.. especially one who repeatedly brought up one involving the Apollo Theatre, I swear, some of you are closet cases that talk about it instead of just coming out since you talk about it so much. I was always taught that when you really want something you never stop talking about it and never stop striving to get it..DO we have that here with all the "jail rape" comments??? 83. 95. A 17 year old with stupid parents. They bought him a "souped" up car, encouraged him to race and his dad bought his beer. The time fits the crime. Pray for that soldier and his family.

96. I think he got off easy, lucky for him I was not the judge. If I was he would be doing 3 years and the probation. I hope in the civil suit John's medical and care costs land on Nick for life. Nick was given a car rigged for street racing and allowed to keep it after there was clear indication that he was out of control behind the wheel. The letters of his license plate tell exactly his attitude toward driving safety an rsponsibility. The judge should have made him do all 500 hours of community service in an emrgency room and only the hours spent with accident injured people should count.

To all the people who suggest the abuse of one prisoner by others while in jail; may it happen to you and be highly publicized. Think, what kind of a country is it where this is a commonly believed true or not, and how does it make all of us look to the rest of the world.

103. I'm not mocking anyone. This is a tragedy that could have been avoided if Nick would have obeyed this little thing called THE LAW! He had the world handed to him but since that family has no class he thought he could do what ever he wanted since that was the way he was raised. Got news for you. This kid will be in trouble the rest of his life. There is nothing between those two ears. I hope the other family is compensated with millions, which in no way makes up for their loss.
