So shut up about whos fault it is its not one person fault, its BOTH just one got hurt and wasnt able to face the court, there was aslo another car in the picutre but no one wants to point that out, get a life!

17. Dude, time to pay up! You wanna play (with lives) You're gonna PAY! I am so glad the judge grew some ballz and is making him do some jail time. Maybe he'll learn his lesson. Who knows, or maybe another hot shot celeb. brat will think twice before getting behind the wheel and acting unresponsible.

19. The kid who got hurt knew he was going to participate in drag racing - he put himself in that position. Nick isn't innocent but the kid who got hurt isn't either. He knew what he was getting himself into and what he was risking.

20. 7. everyone is quick to point at nick for being the bad one but yet his friend knew how nick liked to speed and still got in the car with him, a good friend what have told nick hey the streets are wet and if your going to drive crazy then i will not be riding with you and let`s not forget nick was wearing a seat belt and john wasn`t. maybe john wanted to show off just as much as nick did but nick was at least smart enough to wear his seat belt. so i think that john`s family needs to admit that he also did wrong.

12. This is Awfull, and the comments from the brother about how the act of his length in iraq and how he was defending our families...was mentioed the judge mentioned it, to bad he was wishing hateful things to hear some of the nice things the Judge and other people had to say about his brother. And also everyone wants to point the finger but the truth is would john of been less hurt if he was wearing his seatbelt?

These two comments were obviously written by the same person and this person is most likely one of the morons that Nick calls "family."

Brooke, your daddy is calling. He wants to wax your muff. Turn off the computer and go make him happy.

21. Ben - If the comments are upsetting you this much - why don't you just leave then?

We all know you are the same "lame-ass" that changes their name repeating the same stupid comments!!!

Go cry for Nick!

22. I think it is terrible what Nick did, but John chose to get in the car with him knowing he had been drinking and he chose NOT to put his seat belt on. Teenagers think they are invincible. If John was wearing his seat belt and was okay would they be having this hearing? Also Brooke was out of line by saying he spent more time with their family than his own. Even if it is true, do you think thats what the family wants to hear?

25. I love it, the Hulkster's only son just gets sentenced to prison, and all #1 can come up with is, "1st?" Yeah, you're first, congrats. It's all downhill here from here on out pal, too bad your Friday peaked so early.

26. Exactly Law2003. I'm sure both boys were laughing having a good time. I'm sure John wasn't begging to be let out of the car. Nick deserves time for nothing more than to learn a lesson that he shouldn't be driving dangerously but as far as spoiled and lazy, you can blame the parents for that.

27. Everyone seems so quick to point the finger @ Nick for being the bad one but the John (older and wiser supposedly), knew very well about Nick's love for speed and yet he did get in the car. This is a sad situation for both families. Let`s also not forget Nick was wearing a seat belt and John, again the older and wiser one as he has been so portrayed by his family chose not too. Mr Grasiano needs to accept his son is just as much as fault as Nick. As a mother of three sons I was glad to see Nick step up and accept responsibility for his mistakes I was saddened the judge did not take the opportunity to have him address other young boys as part of his sentencing. Teens listen far more to their peers than any adult.

28. Slap on the wrist is putting it lightly. He shoulda been strapped in a car and mangled like "his best bud" - eye for a freakin' eye, baby. I hold the parents mainly responsible for raising him to think that it's OK to thumb your nose at the law that the rest of us abide by.

29. I agree Law2003... everyone is quick to point fingers at Nick, and although Nick was in the wrong, yes, so was John!!! John is not as "innocent" as everyone is making him out... he chose to ride with Nick, he chose to not wear his seat belt, he chose to put himself in that position knowing what Nick was like. I think that John is just as much as guilty as Nick and that his family is just seeing this as a prime opportunity to use this as a "get rich quick" scheme!!! Both families obviously are hurting and have lost someone very dear to them. Was Nick in the wrong here? YES. Was John in the wrong here? YES. It is NOT all about Nick guys... Not to mention, this is very much his parents fault. If he was raised with his parents being all about speed and such, then that is obviously the same lesson he is learning and he is obviously going to recreate what he has learned. That's like saying "Son, don't drink, now go get me a beer out of the fridge." Children/Teens learn by example and sadly, his example was not the best and now he is the one paying the price!!! It's a sad sad situation all around for everyone involved. Quit blaming Nick and look at the bigger picture of who all is guilty in this situation. There is so much more to this then "Nick"!!!!!

30. Had it been a n-gg-r, he would have gotten 80 years in prison. We have a two party justice system. One for us and one for them n-gg-rs! Nick got away with murder, although the veggie was to blame as well!
