There are no winners here. I agree that John has some responsibility in all of this but the fact remains he has already been sentenced. He began serving his life sentence the day the car wrecked. His parole comes up upon his death. Isn't that enough? Nick played with the big boys and found out he wasn't so big after all. You play, you pay. I hope he does his time and becomes someone other than "Nick Hogan". The name "Hogan" has become a joke. Nick's father looked like a cartoon character in court. He needs to grow up, but at his age sadly it is damn near impossible. The sentence was just and the Graziano family has the right to feel as they do. It is their son who is sentenced to the living death. Nick's life will go on. Hopefully for the best.

this is a sad thing to of have happened to all mainly for john and his family but like someone said early john had to of known nick was drinking and loves to speed he choosed to get into the car with him so the blame should not be on nick not all of it anyway nick didnt mean for this to happen hes a stupid kid like we all once was and like kids think nothing bad could ever happen to them it was an accident no more than that a sad sad day for all invovled i just hope nick learns his lesson and grows up a bit after all of this

PEOPLE IN HERE NEED TO REMEMBER THAT HIS FRIEND GOT IN THE CAR WITH HIM KNOWING HOW NICK IS. AND FOR THE FACT THAT HE DIDNT WEAR A SEAT BELT SHOULD BE RECOGNIZED ALSO!!! SOMEONE VERY CLOSE TO ME WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT AND HE WASNT DRIVING. AND MY FRIEND DIDNT HAVE A SEATBELT ON EITHER. AND HIS WHOLE LIFE IS CHANGED NOW DUE TO THAT DECISION. AND IT WAS HIS DECISION TO GET IN THE CAR AND TO NOT WEAR A SEAT BELT. I BLAMED THE DRIVER FOR A LONG TIME. BUT I REALIZED IT WAS MY FRIENDS DECISION TO GET IN THAT CAR KNOWING ALCHOHOL WAS A FACTOR AND KNOWINGLY DIDNT WEAR A SEATBELT. NOBODY WINS IN SITUATIONS LIKE THESE.

I think that the sentence that was handed down was way harsh. I think that this accident was both of their faults. John did not have a seatbelt on and he knew how his friend was. He didn't have to get in the car. Also, I understand that he was hurt badly but I think that his family is just trying to make an example out of Nick. The Hogan family was at the hospital and they did offer financial help. I think that John's family is using this as a publicty stunt to make more money in the other court case. I feel sorry for Nick the most. He has to suffer and live everyday of his life knowing what happened. John made a decision to go for the ride, and like what he didn't know after they hit 90 that he was sppeding. He could have told him to slow down and then got out. He didn't. I feel for you Nick and the entire Hogan Family. i think that a family that maybe didn't have alot got into a situation that they see as a GOLD mine, To bad people are greedy. I hope the best for Nick and his family.
