Why not make life as pleasant as possible, not only for ourselves, but for others along the way? At least that's the way I see it. Maybe that's a little naive, but it works for me, and I've done okay so far.

56. No, Frank. It's not because they're (Blake, Spector) not black.
It's because we were given graphic pictures of a beautiful young woman and her innocent young friend.
We were told of the history of awful domestic abuse.
The Kato aspect attracted interested, along with the children.
Mark Furman and the glove story, the colorful lawyers, the high speed chase, etc.
These all kept our collective interest.
That's why people were so appalled, not because he was black.

57. I watched the televised court proceedings and he was proven "not guilty" by a jury of his peers. End of case. That is whythe system does not make sense when someone is not found "guilty" that they can be made to pay money to the victims family for the murder. Duh..that is why our system is a mess. Goldman's think money will pay for the lose of their son and brother..wrong! They need ot get peace from money? Something is wrong with that and I feel sad that they are so caught up in it and being the "professional victims" now that they will never have rest or forgiveness for whoever did this.
I think the whole thing was a setup with Goldman's involved in Vegas and this guy isn't any better but just wanting money because he is in trouble now too. Also with what was presented at the trial the jury made the right decision. Did OJ do it? No..it was a profesisonal job and all evidence pointed that way. Did he hire someone to do it? Possibly..but it was a professional job and possibly related to drugs and a message to Nicole's friend who stayed with her a few weeks before fresh out of rehab. I do think Goldman was at he wrong place at the wrong time trying to do a good deed.

Our injustices are REAL, not perceived. if you want an idea of the prevailing racist attitude in this country, just read the posts about ANY black celebrity on TMZ. There is ALWAYS racist nonsense, and a lot of it, as there is on just about any message board you read. Racism is not in our mind, as the average racist would have you believe. They try to make it look like we're "whining" about slavery. Guess what? Slave owners aren't posting racist comments on TMZ, so that excuse is the thing that's played-out, not the so-called race card (nice phrase btw, obviously coined by whites). It's amazing that you can be forced to have no voice for hundreds of years, yet when you finally exercise that voice, it's playing the race card or whining. Blacks have only been allowed to speak freely for less than 50 years and already white America wants us to shut up. Sounds like they never wanted us to speak in the first place. I knew what blacgirl was getting at, even if she may not have explained it the best way. Bottom line, you should have just offered proof: OJ and Robert Blake both killed their wives around the same time and were acquitted, yet only ONE is vilified to this day. The fact that colorblind(so-called)sister zeroed in on only your comments and defended the white race against same, makes her claim to be black VERY SUSPECT. I SERIOUSLY DOUBT she is black.
