Bandanna-Gate: Bailiff Bends Rules for Hulkster

Hulk HoganThere was a lot of "WTF?" buzz around Hulk Hogan's appearance at his son Nick's court hearing on Friday. Why was he allowed to wear a black bandanna, when it's SOP for judges to order people who testify to lose the headgear. It's a whole respect thing.

A public information officer for the Sixth Judicial Circuit said:

"It would have caused a big scene to have him take it off. Technically he shouldn't have been allowed to wear it. But normally bailiffs do those things when people are coming in, and there was just so much going on that it wasn't noticed in time."

Although the court doesn't have a formal dress code, no hats or caps are allowed, according to TBO.com.

17. People the Pukester Hulkster has no respect for the courts BUT>>>>>>>>>>> The JUDGE HAS NO BALLS !! shoulda made him take it off when addressing the courts. NOW someone should go before that Judge with the same bandana on & see what happens HEY JUDGE YOU GOT NO BALLS!!

18. Many may not agree with the outcome of the trail but I can tell you from experience with this type of trial in Fla that he got what he got. In fact, I was surprised by the 8 months jail. There are a lot of folks who have committed worse driving offenses that walk. Was it fair? It could go both ways. As for the dress code. The court security folks screwed up but on the other hand this was on national tv. Sometimes small things like this are overlooked over other concerns. Hulk will be deep pocket broke soon anyway. I do think that the passenger also bears responsibility for his actions. He could have worn a seatbelt or told JNick to stop now and let me out because this is stupid. Since they were both into cars he may have been the one to tell Nick they could take the other car. And what of the other driver??????

19. I wondered why the Court allowd Hogan to wear his head gear....a guy showed up for Court in my county in shorts and flip flops....the Judge told him he had exactly 30 minuted to go buy some "big boy" clothes and come back to Court for his hearing. Hooray for this Judge for showing this idiot that you do not show up for Court dressed as if you were going to the Beach!!!

20. Ya he's bald. Plus his son skated. When the guy dies, hopefully nick the prick will do the full 7 years.

21. Yep- really no excuse to allow Hulk to dress like this- he was in contempt of court, period.

So... If Hulk had been not wearing pants, for example, it would have been OK, because that "would have made a big scene", to have him put on some pants? Heck- why have ANY laws, if they cause "a big scene"?

Fortunately, this will just be one additional slight against Hulk in the civil action, where character DOES matter.

I also wasn't too impressed that the judge giggled his way thru his verdict. His demeanor failed to set the proper tone for the levity of this case, and as a result, his verdict comes off a bit glad-handed; Did the judge get Hulk's autograph after the trial?

Little Nicky did a decent job of acting like he was scared, but I'm sure the giggling judge set his mind at ease.

The judge also lied about Little Nicky's remorse in this matter. He stated that he was aware- early on in this case- how sorry Little Nicky was for this crime;

Oh really? Then WHY was he still pleading "not guilty" right up until the day before the trial?

The criminal aspect of this case is relatively minor, in relation to the civil action- as poor of a job the court did here, it really doesn't matter;

I just hope this doesn't set the tone for the civil action.

22. The biggest prize Nick got was NO FELONY on his record. Everything else is just a piece of cake!! The little dumbass proably is high-fiving everyone! Now everyone bow your head for "Brookie's" fantastic singing career that daddy was pimping out. I see a wrestling career in HER future--or dancing with the stars perhaps. Hulk didn't want everyone to see his bald--I didn't say shaved head. He'd do better to shave that mullet off and loose the do-rag. But maybe that is where his power is!!!!!! Why can't these old farts just fade into the sunset???? Because they are in DEBT up to their butts and didn't invest wisely!!!!!!! All show and no go.

23. it would have caused a scene are you joking the only way it would become a scene is if the loser hulk made it one. please take off your hat sir. ok im sorry i wasn't aware? to bad nicks lawyers didn't mention it either. losers the whole bunch.

24. I was kind of surprised when I saw that do-rag on his head in a Court room. He’s overall dress period. It showed complete disrespect for the Court. It’s true, the apple never falls far from the tree.

25. But hey- this is good news for the Bloods and Crypts- whenever their gangmembers come to trial, they can now wear their bandanas, because gosh- wouldn't want to create a "scene" by forcing them to take them off........

26. What a low-class boob.

Posted at 12:53PM on May 11th 2008 by Sonia

27. Yeah, sure, the court did kinda wuss out on upholding the rules of the court with Asshulk, but the real issue is that Asshullk is a self serving jerk with no respect or class and his wearing a nappy bandanna to court proved it beyond any shadow of a doubt.

28. Nick was 17 yrs old, a minor, the companion was a legal adult with a lot more life experience. Nick wore his seatbealt, the adult did not. Seems the adult should be the one held accountable, he was drinking with a minor and participating in an illegal race. What Nick did was wrong, but not anything new. He should not be treated harsher than anyone else because his dad is famous. When your children are out you have no control over there choices, just have to hope they make good ones. Eight months is a long time for a young boy, he is living with a lot of guilt, his friend is equally guilty and unfortunately paying a high price. But HE choose not to wear a seatbelt.

29. #23-grow up...im completely with u! im not exactly sure how it would have caused a "scene" to have him take his bandana off. HE would have had to make a scene. so when he goes to the airport and they're asking everyone else to take off their shoes, do they skip over the Hulk cuz they're afraid "it'll make a scene"?

i dont get it.....

Posted at 1:41PM on May 11th 2008 by NumberOneStylist

30. #28- Joan, you ignorant slut.....

First, who told you Graziano wasn't wearing a seat belt? Oh yeah- the Hogans. NOT the accident report, or the foresic evidence attained in the emergency room, which showed bruises on John's body, as would be consistant with those caused by wearing seat belts.

Oh- but you believe Brooke, instead.

Duh.

Second- and more to the point- how do you equate doing 8 months in county jail with being a vegetable for the rest of John's life? So you really feel that is an equitable deal, huh?

Please stop wearing YOUR seatbelt, so Darwinism can take effect as soon as possible.........
