Bandanna-Gate: Bailiff Bends Rules for Hulkster

Hulk HoganThere was a lot of "WTF?" buzz around Hulk Hogan's appearance at his son Nick's court hearing on Friday. Why was he allowed to wear a black bandanna, when it's SOP for judges to order people who testify to lose the headgear. It's a whole respect thing.

A public information officer for the Sixth Judicial Circuit said:

"It would have caused a big scene to have him take it off. Technically he shouldn't have been allowed to wear it. But normally bailiffs do those things when people are coming in, and there was just so much going on that it wasn't noticed in time."

Although the court doesn't have a formal dress code, no hats or caps are allowed, according to TBO.com.

31. I think this points to the entire problem - who is the adult in this family. Regardless of whether the defendent is guilty or innocent, I think how you are dressed for court is reflective of something. As the father of a child who, even if no fault of his own, caused another young man to be severely brain damaged, should have the respect and maturity to show up to court dressed appropriately.

Reminds me of when OJ was sitting in his trial and he and his lawyers were laughing. The gravity of the situation was such that laughing wasn't appropriate.

32. Celebrity justice strikes again. This judge deserves no respect as he does not respect the rules of his own court room.

33. I was in court one day when everything was held up while the bailiff made a man remove his baseball cap. The guy didn't speak English and didn't understand what was wrong at first. Maybe you have to speak really slowly for the Hogans.

34. #30 - J in the Bay. Are you a moron, the fact that John didn't wear his seatbelt is right there in the police report and plenty evident by the pictures. Nick's belt was cut off of him, John's was not attached and the police on scene even tested it to make sure it wasn't defective. And unlike their horrible attempts at probably cause to take Nick's BAL, despite no witnesses seeing him drink, no signs of intoxication, and the sample they used not even being enough to test via the police report, the police actually tested the buckle on scene, didn't make it up three months later because they had no evidence. As for the do-rag, what Hulk wore is his formal attire. Weddings, funerals, and court appearances he always wears that and it's never been a problem before. He testified in the federal courts for Vince McMahon's trial back in 1994 and they didn't have any problem with it. The fact that it's a "story" and people are commenting on it would seem to indicate that it would have caused a scene. Then again a do-rag is not a hat or cap, so it's not really an issue.

35. #34- Rob- Nice try.

Sorry.

Bruises on John's body indicate he was wearing his seat belt.

When police askd Little Nicky if he unbuckled John, he "couldn't remember".

"No Contest" was plead in an effort to avoid the facts of this case from coming to light.

Won't make a bit of difference in the civil trial, tho;

But nice try to stand up for your buddy- he promise you a part on the show?

Is "D*ck-Magnet Orange" working as well as "P*ssy Magnet Yellow" for Little Nicky?

The daughter was dressed for after court clubbing, it's clear they have no respect for the law or a judges presence ,
Only thing missing was mom in cut offs and flip flops.

39. #35 - Jay in the Bay. We'll wait for the civil trial where
unfortunatey your fantasy scenario for Johnny B. Good will be
exposed. It's in the report about the seatbelt, and even his lawyers
haven't tried to argue it, the've accepted that fact and just
don't want it to factor in the case. Talk about taking responsibility,
the Grazianos wouldn't have a clue about it. They will also expose
how the Grazianos raise their own kids in the same irresponsible
matter they now accuse the Bolleas of doing. Johnny's FIVE speeding
tickets, his careless driving ticket, and his previous seat belt
violation, all will be presented. Who knows what else he'd have done
if he wasn't in Iraq for a year and a half, but he still found a way
to get in trouble between trips there. Graziano's dad's DUI will
call into question his own judgment and pointing fingers of irresponsibility, and then
you've got their other son who just had a racing on the highway
reduced to reckless driving in the past year himself. So they didn't
even learn from John's actions and teach his brother how to stay out of
trouble. How come they didn't want jail time for daddy or brother
for their recklessness? It will all come out, as will the shoddy job
by the police in trying to charge Nick extra even though he wasn't
really drinking. And had he been, that'd just be more ammunition
against John since those that ride with drunks and are injured also
lose out when it comes to contributory negligence. But like I said
that's already been tossed out by the DMV, so won't factor in anyhow
and won't hurt John's case either.

40. It would have created a scene - when the ENTIRE courtroom burst into uncontrollable LAUGHTER!!!!

Oh, and throw the Baliff under the bus??? WTF?

What would Judge Judy have done? I wish her show could be called Celebrity Court - since they (the clelebs) like exposure why not go on Judge Judy's Celebrity Court? That'd be a show worth watching.

41. Nick was the driver of said vehichle. There by making him responsible for the actions of the other passengers, including the wearing of their seat belts and the closing of their doors. Any harm brought about by the negligence of the driver is entirely his/her fault. No matter if the passenger is hanging out the window, the moonroof, it's the drivers responsibility even if the passenger is older and supposedly wiser. Being 17 is no excuse, being drunk isn't either.Nick is at fault 100%. The only thing that Ben could have done was to not have gotten in the car in the first place. Telling Nick to slow down? Drunk and a celebrities son, with his record of not having to pay for his mistakes. Im sure if Ben had said " Slow down" Nick would have floored the pedal. As far as Hulk and his bandana, the judge should be disbarred for allowing this to happen. I hope the civil trial starts before Nick turns 18, if Terrs divorce was for financial reasons, Sue both parents and their production company. But i do wish that the Hogan family comes forth and makes good with a financial settlement barring Bens family from going through the civil process. It can get ugly.

45. #38- Rob- Oh really, Rob? The prosecution has already tipped it's case to you? And exactly how did that happen? Seeing how the plea NO CONTEST, thus the prosecution NEVER presented their case, I'd love to know how you know as much as the Hogan defense team- NO lawyers made ANY arguments, moron...... Duh.

"Nick wasn't even drinking.." What are you smoking, dude? What- you think Nick's blood just naturally had alcohol in it? You DO know how to peruse a toxicology report, right? Or was that made-up, too?

"Tossed out by the DMV"- Uh, dude- the DMV isn't a court, it's a departnent of transportation- in fact, it's probably where you work. They don't "toss out" anything, or are they empowered to; They do an investigation of the scene of an accident, and report findings. Once again- back up your statements- show us EXACTLY where the DMV "threw out" anything. They reported that Graziano's seat belt was unbuckled- that's it. Either it was never buckled, or it was unbuckled by someone at the scene. A later followup by the hospital foresic report showed bruises on John's body, consistant with those of caused by seatbelt trauma;

So unless John was in ANOTHER accident earlier that day, your story isn't floating.

Your babble is incoherent. When did John get put on trial? That's a great idea, tho- why don't we wheel his bed in during LIttle Nicky's trial, and see how that goes? I'm sure the sight of John sucking on a ventalator in order to keep breathing wont' sway anyone in the room as to who was responsible for John's condition,,,,,

What it sounds like is that you're one of Little Nicky's douche friends, who is unhappy that the gravy train has come to a sudden end.

Any time you think that Little Nicky is getting a bum rap verses John Graziano, why don't you ask him if he wants to change places with John.

Say hi to Little Nicky- I hear that County isn't gonna leave him in the hospital ward much longer- he's 18 now, time to man up with the big, sweaty boys.......
