Bandanna-Gate: Bailiff Bends Rules for Hulkster

Hulk HoganThere was a lot of "WTF?" buzz around Hulk Hogan's appearance at his son Nick's court hearing on Friday. Why was he allowed to wear a black bandanna, when it's SOP for judges to order people who testify to lose the headgear. It's a whole respect thing.

A public information officer for the Sixth Judicial Circuit said:

"It would have caused a big scene to have him take it off. Technically he shouldn't have been allowed to wear it. But normally bailiffs do those things when people are coming in, and there was just so much going on that it wasn't noticed in time."

Although the court doesn't have a formal dress code, no hats or caps are allowed, according to TBO.com.

46. so, he looks at himself in the mirror in the morning before the hearing, and thinks, "Yes! my bandana. Yea!"

47. Just another example of the special treatment afforded to the "rich and famous". Any Joe Schmuck would have been ordered to remove his headware you can bet your ass on that.

48. This is beyond belief, how would this have caused a big scene? you tell him to remove the bandanna or leave the court room. If he does not comply and/or causes a scene he is arrested. It is sad that he has to have the "LOOK" even at his son's trail.

49. Since it's on/off topic from Bandanna-Gate to the sentencing hearing - here's my 2 cents.....

In the movie, Find Me Guilty (2006) w/Vin Diesel (got good and eh reviews) I enjoyed it. Based on a true story - a witness was wheeled into the courtroom in a hospital bed.

Anyways - I wonder how much giggling that Judge would have done had John had the clearing to attend that hearing. Obviously no words needed. And if the prosecutors were to enlarge each and every moving violation offense on large poster boards, (6 I believe maybe 7) Since he was 16 - 6 or 7 speeding tickets??? With excess of 100+ on some of them? And one twice the limit in a construction zone. WTF???? I do put partial blame on Hulk & what's her face, but at 17 with multiple warnings and supposed punishment - when do you stop calling him a FRIGGEN CHILD????

EVEN A TWO YEAR OLD KNOWS NOT TO TOUCH THE STOVE AFTER THE FIRST TIME HE GETS BURNED!!!!

Regarding Bandanna-Gate.... That Judge was waaay out of the lines for his position. It was either pre-arranged or he just turned a BLIND eye.

He gives LADY JUSTICE a bad name!!! Justice is NOT supposed to be BLIND!!!! SHAME ON THAT JUDGE!!!!

I hope he is not hiring an agent looking for the next Hollywood deal!

51. Must be a slow day for TMZ if they thought this was worthy of printing. This piece garners a big, "so what" from me.

52. Okay, so here is how it goes down. Catholic nuns can wear their traditional head covering, Jewish men can weartheir beanies, Hulk Hogan can wear his black bandana. But white people vomit when Muslim women protest when they are not allowed to wear their traditional head covering in court? You people are so full of hypocrisy its amazing! No wonder the rest of the world thinks we are a pack of lying snakes!

54. Oh my God, I am so sick of these people not having to follow the rules and are continualy allowed to break laws with no consequence. I am not understanding how this keeps going on........ Judges are voted in so everyone should not vote for him next election.
