Mariah and Nick on the Roller Coaster of Love

Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey had a shotgun wedding in the Bahamas, so now they're celebrating here ... at a theme park. Six months ago she was sipping Cristal on a yacht in St. Barth's -- now she's eating corn dogs in Valencia, CA.

We've confirmed Nick rented out Six Flags Magic Mountain for the night -- and word is it's for a wedding reception. The park shut down to the public at 6:00 PM -- and that's when Nick and Mariah took over. Mariah pulled up in a black Rolls Royce shortly after 8:00 PM. We're told the party will go on at least until midnight.

Rumors are also swirling about an A-list guest list that includes Will Smith and Stevie Wonder -- so far no sign of 'em.

31. Uhhhh......this is to the kiddies at TMZ. You DO know what the term "shotgun wedding" refers to, don't you? Back in the goldy oldy days when a girl turned up pregnant, her daddy and brothers got out the shotguns and marched her and her boyfriend to the church and forced them to get married. Is this why Mariah and Nick got married? Funny, I didn't see any pictures of shotguns in the People spread of their wedding. I'm glad they're having a good time. Six flags wouldn't be my idea of a good time, but then they didn't ask me what they should do for fun any more than they asked you. Lighten up. I hope this lasts for a long time.

36. I wish happiness for ANY newlywed couple, but this couple got married in the Bahamas which means their marriage is NOT legal in the United States.

If everything is on the up and up, then HAVE A LEGAL CEREMONY IN THE UNITED STATES.

Are they for real or just "playing at being married" to see if they will last?

38. the shocking part of all this to me is no prenup. Where were all her advisors that couldn't convince her to do a prenup? It is one thing to be swept up in the moment but I'm afraid Mariah will be taken to the cleaners big time when and if this ends.
