34. Nick was careless, he got pulled over and ticketed before this happened, and no one stopped him,and now he is where he belongs, if he smart he will use this time to figure out how is going to become a useful, productive adult.

35. I'm glad to see his mom and dad together - maybe this will help heal their marriage. Thank goodness Nick is only 17 - if he were 18 - wouldn't he be in a different jail? Did they try him as an adult?

36. ya really #33, do you have to physically place the seat belts on people when they get into the car? or shouldn't they be smart enough to put on a seat helt, especially being 24 years of age. come on! maybe he was too drunk to remember to do that since he had been drinking all day on a boat.

38. #10, he Nick did not kill anyone. Not sure what you are reading or watching. I agree, he should have gotten more jail time than he did. America is a free country. If the Hulk wants to date a hot young blonde, where is it written that he shall not do this? Is not Brooke, so where's the crime? Linda filed for divorce not Hulk.... I think you need to wake up and get a little caught up before you start wasting air.

It is heartbreaking what has happened here. That's why we should pray for all of them. I think Nick will come out of this and can tell his story and impact thousands of young people not to make the same mistake. What can be learned from this tragedy can potentially prevent many more, so something good can come of this.

It could be any of our children on either side of this situation. We are not all such perfect parents that we are immune. None of us. Nick is very young. Let's not forget that. We've likely all had family members (or ourselves) who have sometimes driven in a wreckless manner. It is perhaps by the grace of God that this kind of thing hasn't happened to a loved one of all of us. Be careful about judging people, count your blessings, and pray that this doesn't happen to your son or daughter.
