Lets Get This Party Started
"Idol" Honcho -- Free David from Dad!

TMZ first told you how David Archuleta's dad was banished from backstage on "American Idol" for being a total nightmare. Now, "AI" executive producer Nigel Lythgoe is selling his side of the story, and it sounds a lot like what we said.

Lythgoe tells EW.com that while "'banished' is a terrible word," he and the other "Idol" bigs wants David "to be able to be free like everybody else" to do his thing. As for the whole "Stand by Me" lyric-gate, Nigel says it was "a total misunderstanding" that led producer to say, "Okay, this is what we want to happen from now on."

Last night, our spies noted that Jeff Archuleta was "shooting daggers" at Lythgoe and co.

Castro – Stoner? I Don't Even Know Mary Jane!

Dreadlocks, heavily lidded eyes, the whole short-term memory lapse problem: Wasn't Jason Castro just blazed the whole time?

Hell no, dude, he tells OK! magazine. And here's the shocker: He says he's never been stoned in his life. "I think that, especially with things like ["AI"], people like to stereotype so easily," says Castro. "People have always said that. I don't worry about what people say."

Of course, when TMZ caught up with him yesterday, he didn't have very much to say at all, despite a barrage of qs.

"Work Out's" Warner Worked Over Boob Barb

Fitness guru and reality cult-heroine Jackie Warner is getting thrown on the rack after remarks about a client's enhanced bosom –- that Jackie says wasn't her doing –- rubbed viewers and a big sponsor the wrong way.

Propel Water told TMZ in a statement that it's pulling its sponsorship of Bravo's "Work Out" after Warner and her office manager's remarks about Jamie Eason, a breast cancer survivor, aired. Warner's camp says the offending remarks didn't come from her, but from her staff.

Eason tells TMZ, "It saddens me that Jackie continues to blame the others around her."

Party Favors: Al Reynolds Says He Loved Star, Once ... Mariah Tops Madonna

Al Reynolds – ex-Mr. Star Jones -- tells the world on his MySpace blog that he wants everyone to "walk in my shoes for a few hours ... It feels like 'Dump on Al Month.'" The world weeps. ... Mariah just crept past Madonna to claim the #4 spot on the music charts, even though her album's been out a lot longer. Madonna's album dropped like a rock from week one to week two of release.

16. I saw that episode of Work Out and was shocked on how Jackie handled the situation. She should have fired the assistant ON THE SPOT! Brian had EVERY RIGHT to be pissed and demand an explaination from Jackie. She didn't seem to want to do that on camera, which is why she got so pissy with him and fired him. She twisted things to make it look like Brian did something wrong by wanting to talk about what happened and used that as her excuse to fire him, taking the focus off of what SHE and her assistant said. Then she tells Brian he can take his client with him?!?!?!?! And how immature of the other trainers to go running outside to tell the other trainers that he was fired. Jackie comes across as unprofessional and bitchy and her trainers act like spoiled brats. How dare she or any other trainer make comments about their clients. The clients are there to seek help. Can you imagine if a doctor or nurse made a comment about you within earshot? Same difference here. I hope the woman in question files a lawsuit against Jackie and Sky Lab. I, for one, will never watch that show again nor will I buy from their advertisers or sponsers.

17. I watched the program, I was in ahock in how she handle the whole thing. This season she is more about her needs, not the needs of her trainers. Her laughing at the remark about the big boobs was babd then firing the trainer was in bad taste I won't be watching this program again. Lets help cancer patients and stop watching the show, and gthat will send her a message.

20. Good for Propel. I'm sure Warner will try to make a better vitamin water for the world's masses, since she is selling everything else.
Peeler did nothing wrong, and Warner was a lunatic to him. Her "assistant" sounded like a typical hater, and should have been disciplined.
The show is entertaining, but I don't know why people need "trainers" to lose weight.

21. Jackie should have fired the assistant. It was SHAMEFUL the way she treated Brian. That assistant is a bitch.

22. I couldn't BELIEVE what was happening when I saw that episode of "Work Out". I was a loyal viewer the first couple of seasons, but never, ever again. Yes, the office manager said it--but Jackie was amused by it. She tried to spin what happened on the episode by insisting to the audience that everything was OK after there had been an apology, but that's obviously not the case, as the victim of the insult is still upset. Brian had every right in the world to go in and defend his client, and I'm certain that Jackie would've discussed the situation with any of her other trainers. She wanted an excuse to fire Brian, and, unfortunately, picked that situation as a reason to do it. The whole thing is disgusting, and the fact that Jackie isn't taking responsibility for it--when she could've said something to that office manager to demonstrate her disapproval, if she actually felt that way--is wrong, plain and simple. I, too, hope that Brian finds/has found a great home at another gym! Jackie said Brian only wanted to be a part of the event for Doug's charity because of, basically, his ego--that it was "about Brian". Well, now that we've seen Jackie's true self, we all know that everything is "about Jackie"--and if she's amused, it doesn't matter who gets hurt.

23. Ms. Warner and her vengeful assistant are like two peas in a pod and that's a little silly since Jackie is the one running Skylab and her assistant is just that and nothing else. Jackie’s behavior is the perfect example of what types of Management or Leaders one should not exemplify. Ms. Jackie and office mgr/secretary cooking things up and stirring them around at the expense of her trainers and the respect of their clients could lead to entrepreneurial suicide - this is the perfect example. Breast Cancer is at the very forefront of women all over the world, its effects can be so damaging that corrective surgery may be the only way to reinstate oneself so that they may feel comfortable, personally and socially. You would think that someone who prides herself on the “whole package” of health as it pertains to body, mind and spirit, that she of ALL PEOPLE would be more responsible. Brian Peeler’s time was up, it’s obvious they did not get along but that is a personal issue and could have been handled differently. Ms. Warner should have been a bit more retrospective and taken a good hard look in the mirror when seeking heads for the chopping block; she could have stepped up like the leader that she portrays on her show and taken responsibility for herself, Skylab and its trainers. Let’s also keep in mind that DRAMA makes for great reality television and this is just ANOTHER reality program. Sure it’s a shame that poor behavior and capturing it for all to see is great for ratings but it’s Jackie that picks up all the losses on this one, the loss of a trainer, loss of a client, and now a loss of sponsorship. She could have cancelled that out by apologizing to the client, retaining the client as she would have continued at Skylab, Terminated Brian respectively , respectably, and Propel would still be on the shelves, keeping her integrity, sponsorship and money intact instead she threw them all on the table and lost it – I thought they were in Hollywood, not Vegas.

25. I was shocked to see how Jackie handled the situation. The next day I checked all the gossip blogs hoping for a mention of her behavior and that Bravo or a sponsor had reacted to her behavior. I am so happy that Propel has taken a stand. Jackie, as the owner of the gym doesn't she see something wrong with her staff making fun of their clients whether a breast cancer survivor or not. Jackie was laughing along with the assistant as they were mocking someone who paid to come into their gym. Then after hearing the story of the woman was so big headed that she never apologized to the girl instead pushing it off on someone else. IF you are there laughing along that makes you just as much a part of the incident. Then when Brian came in simply wanting to talk about the situation she handled like a four year old on a power trip and then to think that she handled it correctly. I don't expect much form her but I still am hoping Bravo does something about the matter as she has offended anyone who watched the show and has had someone close to them effected by cancer.

26. I almost fell off the couch watching the Work Out episode where unnecessary and unflattering comments were made about a client of Jackie Warner's gym. How can Bravo support a show where their "Star" listens and giggles while their staff member, sitting in front of her, makes fun of a women with breast cancer, ridiculing her breasts? How can Bravo support a "Star" who fires Brian Peeler for sticking up for the inappropriate comments made about his client while she was training at the gym. I feel enraged on the woman's behalf....if they wanted to talk about people who were in the place of business they were in...they should have done it at home when the cameras were not rolling....now this has been broadcast all over America....

I have been an avid watcher of the show, but I've seen some of the ugliest behavior ever this year in Work Out. I hope all the Ad Sponsors pull their ads from supporting such an incredibly horrible show.

27. I agree w/ other comments, her assistant should have been the one punished, if in fact she did say those things. But truth be told, I think she took the fall for Jackie. Why else would the boyfriend have told Peeler and the girlfriend that it WAS JACKIE who said those things. She has gotten a big head this season, she's cold and calous. I LOVED WHEN THE ONE TRAINER SAID "IF I HAVE TO HEAR ABOUT ONE MORE JACKIE WARNER PRODUCT, I'M GOING TO JUMP OFF A CLIFF"...or something to that effect. Hooray for Propel, I respect them more than ever for dropping their sponsorship!!!!!! Jackie, APOLOGIZE and admit you are wrong!!!

28. Not sure where you're getting your information from on Mariah vs. Madonna... Billboard reported this morning that Madonna's "Hard Candy" slipped from #1 to #3 with 94K sold, while Mariah's "E=MC2" dropped from #2 to #5 with 87K shifted.

29. Dear Bravo - Please pull the plug on Jackie Warner and give Brian Peeler his own show. I have lost several friends to breast cancer and couldn't believe my ears when I heard what Jackie and Lisa said on this show. The idea that Jackie thinks it's all right to belittle clients, no matter what their condition, is simply appalling. The assistant, Lisa, on her Bravo blog, confesses that Jackie DID make comments about the client's breasts and participated fully in the conversation; she says that's why the client's boyfriend was demanding an apology form Jackie, which he never got, as well as the one he got from Lisa.

So Ms. Warner, in one episode you've shown yourself to be a.) a horrible boss b.) an incompetent manager c.) a liar d.) an insensitive, crude and disrespectufl trainer e.) a disgraceful excuse for a human being. Why anyone would think you deserve your own show is beyond me. And your comment that in Los Angeles every single woman is only one alcoholic beverage away from becoming a lesbian is ludicrous. In your dreams! The only reason you get your way with your female employees is that you intimidate them. Last time I checked, that was against the law. I would expect the EEOC and the Justice Department to come calling anyday now. All the evidence they need to convict you for sexual harassment of your employees has already been broadcast!

You accuse Peeler of being disrespectful? You're the most disrespectiful person I've ever seen on air, so ask your shrink about why you keep indulging in classic transference, accusing everyone around you of the sins you yourself commit most frequently. I certainly hope Bravo kicks you and your show to the curb. Buh-bye, Jackie!

30. The assistant is a horrible little spy, Jackie is soooo unproffesional its ridiculous, if a man slept with his
employees, and whoever else like she does they would be replaced. I really don't like the way this
season has started.
