Proving everything she touches turns to gold, Oprah Winfrey's dead dogs have been turned into a masterpiece.

A life-size monument by controversial sculptor Daniel Edwards depicts conjoined-at-the-hip 'puppy versions' of Oprah's late Cocker Spaniel Sophie and Golden Retriever Gracie atop of the unwed 54-year-old's head. So wrong.

"Memories of Sophie and Gracie: A Puppies' Memorial" -- which opens May 22 at the Leo Kesting Gallery -- hopes to highlight "the overlooked threat of accidental pet fatality by common household products." Sophie died earlier this year of kidney failure, while Gracie passed in 2007 from choking on a ball.

This is the latest A-list mock of art created by Edwards -- the same artist responsible for The Paris Hilton Autopsy and the sculpture of a nude Britney Spears giving birth on a rug.

47. the sculpture of Oprah's head and the one of the 2 dogs are each, alone, pretty good, but together look out of place and unconnected. Weird

49. Art is purely subjective. If it illicits reaction than the artist has acomplished his goal, having said that... Yuck.
But it does make you think, and ask a few questions....
Why are the dogs on her head?
Is it a message that the most powerful woman in Tv issubmissive to her dogs?
Is it a buriel piece?
Why does the statue of her face look better than the real woman?
Which of the three dogs has the best hair? Longest tail? Biggest Snout?
Or is it just plain crap?

The sculpture is MEANT to be a mockery, not someting Oprah is going to want to put in her ginormous foyer, dumbasses! As far as all you whiney babies "Wahhh, TMZ is mean, you should be ashamed TMZ", change your diaper and quit crying! Its a shame there are people in this country that are so unintelligent that they can't spot sarcasm and dry humor! You're fueling TMZ just as much as the people that read it and laugh at it because they have a sense of frickin' humor and realize that all the quasi celebrities they pick on are frickin' funny. 57. I am not a fan of dogs, and even less of a fan of dog-fanatics. In fact, it is the dog fanatics that make me even less of a fan of dogs. I suppose it's a mixture of desperate craving for unconditional love- which you usually can't get from a human, and being a total control freak: "Sit! Lie down! No! Come to mama!"
